Qui Gon has no defense against Sith sorcery which Sel Makor stated was more powerful than Lord Fulminis (A famous sorcerer in the Empire responsible for the creations of the Seed of Rage, the Harrower assassin as well as destroying cities with pure force energy). Darth Baras also has an AMP from Sel Makor himself who stalemated Vitiate in a battle of the Force, and received another AMP from the Entity, another Dark-side spirit. Yeah, Qui Gon doesn't get STOMPED he gets annihilated in any of their duels (Even sabers given Baras fought the Wrath in a ferocious battle who destroyed hundreds of armies made of soldiers and Jedi)

Baras doesn't have amps, it's his standard power level....

Not only that, but one of Plo Koon's accolades is that he's one of the most powerful Jedi who ever existed, and Qui-Gon is solidly above him.

Even if Baras doesn't have AMPs as I stated his Sith Sorcery was more powerful than Fulminis who was chosen by Vitiate on many occasions due to his expertise on Sith alchemy (Basically pitting Baras above one that destroyed a rebellious city with a Force storm). Maul was able to defeat Jin because he was getting tired, which I see happening in this scenario, The Wrath who was able to defeat countless Jedis and the developer placed him as equals with the likes Darth Nox, The HoT, Barsen T'hor was panting (In dialogue/Voice acting) when facing Baras. Meaning that Baras without his AMPs could rival a person with 4 Force Ghosts empowering them each individually have accolades and small feats that suggests their mastery in the art of Sith Alchemy. Nox alone has Force feats that are above anything Qui Gon done and the Wrath displayed feats even before SoR that rivaled Maul in a duel. Which is why if the Wrath was breathing heavily against Baras and they were fighting in a ferocious battle according to accolades, this itself places Baras well above on Jin.

@blackymarket: To avoid engaging in semantics, I'll only answer the second question, as that by default puts Jinn well above Baras.

Well for starters, TPM Kenobi beat Plo Koon in a spar, and he himself is inferior to Qui-Gon. Add on that Jinn has more/better accolades, and he scales to TPM Maul as a feat, which is beyond anything Koon has. It's a pretty open/shut case.

Baras solos

@meatpants: As if Jinn's accolade automatically places him above Baras, Malgus as of Decieved was one of the most powerful Sith Lords ever and Baras scales from him.

The key word is "spar", if this was a spar of course Koon would not go all out against a padawan. Jedi Padawans who undergo the Trial of Skill face against holograms of the Ancient Sith Lords such as Darth Desolous or even members of the Jedi Council or the Grand Master. However does that mean that if they beat someone like Yoda or Mace Windu for their Trial of Skill means that he/she will beat them again in a fight to the death? No!

I disagree to this. Koon has bested Ventress one of the most deadliest Jedi assassins who can contend with the likes of Mace Windu while having a broken arm. I wouldn't really scale Qui-Gon close to Maul as on the duel on Tatoonie, Qui-Gon was basically pushed to his back foot by Maul. While on Naboo once Maul separated Kenobi from Qui-Gon it was game over for him as he was also getting tired and exhausted from the duel.
