Battlefield: Ruined City in Remnant.
He said it was in volume 4 chapter 8:
He also seems to have the power to turn into a crow but I don't know if that is apart of his semblance or something else.
Blade doesn't care about "misfortune".
It's kinda his thing... dealing with misfortune.
Blade not caring about misfortune doesn't detract from Qrows advantage. In addition Qrows semblance is the least of blades problems. Qrow also has the edge in durability and he swings his sword with significantly more strength than Blade. If I am being generous there equal speed wise, but if I am being honest Qrow has an edge in speed as well. Skill in RWBY is hard to quantify since everyone in RWBY is super human so its hard to distinguish between what is done due to skill and what is done due to stats but Qrow being one of the most skilled fighters in all of RWBY probably means Blades skill advantage (if it exists) isn't going to matter. Qrow also has a more versatile weapon than Blades usual gear.
I don't know much about Blade, but I don't think he's ever been shown to be comparable to the guy who's niece roundhouse kicked a hundred foot tall demon Pegasus through a battleship.
The phrasing of this speaks volumes on why I love RWBY.
