What stops Protege from copying their powers?

What stops Thanos from absorbing him like he did to LT and eternity?

Except ... y'know, Post-Retcon Beyonder was weaker than Celestials. Hardly piss-worthy.

If you read the series you would know that Protege did not fight the abstracts/LT. At all. Quite literally did nothing to them.

I dare you to find a single scan of Protege laying so as much of a finger on LT, let alone single-handedly defeating LT and all the abstracts. Go on. Show us Protege defeating them. You'll be hard-pressed to do so because it never happened.

Beyonders solo

Protege wins.

Protege should theoretically be stronger than any of the Beyonders individually.

Protege was able to overcome Living Tribunal alone, it took the entire trio of Beyonders to defeat Living Tribunal.

Protege can cope with Thanos Hotu.

Protege can copy Hotu power and can defeat him.

Heart of the Universe is only Universal.

All Thanos did was absorb and recreate a single Universe.

Thanos Hotu = Universal Being

Protege = Multiversal Being

@doomsboy: There is evidence to suggest HOTU and the Infinity OGN have been stealth canonized. In Ultimates #11 and in Doctor Strange #16 they both make references to those events. Thanos states part of himself now resides in the halls of Death with his lady and Doctor Strange uses the wrappings of the Celestial Pharaoh Akhenaten as a weapon.

Post-Retcon Beyonder = Multiversal Being

The Beyonder, in his own universe, attacked Protege and almost instantly Protege neutralized, Beyonder copying his powers. Beyonder escaped.

Protege took over is the Beyonder universe.

The same will happen with Protege vs Thanos Hotu.

Protege is almost instantly copies Thanos Hotu powers.

Protege's ability makes it such that it virtually impossible to defeat him in a face to face battle.

Because he can copy everything you can do.
