Protege solos

Too many variables however IMO comes down to Thanos W/Hotu vs Protege.

Protege has never beaten Pre-Retcon Beyonder. He fought Post-Retcon Beyonder to a standstill, though he has never displayed power above that.

Doctor Doom, steal powers Pre-Retcon Beyonder.

no marvel character can beat pre retcon beyonder. that's why they had to retcon him. he wins hands down.

I'm not sure HOTU is capable of usage of powers more than what all marvel universes that exist are capable of. Meaning all the energy and powers found of all marvel universes combined is still virtually nothing to Beyonder. However, if the HOTU is actually a window of power to TOAA, then even a small amount of HOTU power will provide authority over Beyonder and nothing he can do can stop anyone using the HOTU. Depends on that one, nobody really knows what the hell HOTU is.

Protege would copy Beyonders powers, then Beyonder would copy his powers back and double his strength and then put up a virus protection-like block against Protege from using a copy move further.

But that was because PR Beyonder was careless. He could have erased Doom with a thought at any point beforehand.

Protege can copy anything, including the Beyonder's powers. So this is basically 2 Pre-retcon beyonders facing off against Thanos and God Doom. God Doom becomes horribly irrelevant in such a conflict, and therefore it's Thanos 2v1. It could be argued that the HOTU is as powerful as pre-retcon Beyonder, but even if you were to successfully argue that, it's two beings of PR-Beyonder level power against one HOTU. Team 1 wins.

HoTU only absorbed a single universe. Although it is supposed to be multiversal because Thanos stated HoTU > Infinity Gauntlet > Cosmic Cube. Though I'm not sure whether its true.

Still wouldn't help much here. Beyonder is millions of times greater than the multiverse and would simply crush the other two like insects. Beyonder then proceeds to one-shot Protege for being useless.

While I understand your point, one could argue that the HoTU is multiversal or greater based on it's feats of absorbing the Living Tribunal. It was also stated to be more powerful than the Infinity Gauntlet, which holds the combined power of Nemesis. And Nemesis is perhaps the only being in Marvel that might come even close to TOA's level of power, as it was previously stated to be the most powerful being in the multiverse. Whether these feats hold up or not, it could definitely be argued that HoTU is stronger than you claim it to be.

The point of my post is that, based on the premise, it doesn't matter whether HoTU is multiversal, universal, or even equal to the power of PR-Beyonder. I left it ambiguous because regardless of how high or low you estimate HoTU to be, team 1 still wins. That's the point.

why put pre retcon beyonder in any battle thread. they retconned him for a reason. he basically stomped the marvel universe by himself. they had doom steal his powers, but he stole them back. he is probably the most powerful character marvel has ever created.

HoTU is multiversal, it beat LT and such with ease.
