Garp gets clapped low difficulty;as of now nothing even suggests characters like Whitebeard, Roger etc are ways above the current Yonko. No one in the verse can take Yonko 2 on 1 by feats.

No character in One Piece is beating these two together (besides maybe Imu), they have been depicted as formidable opponents for even the likes of Prime Roger and Whitebeard. The close bounties alone are a good evidence.

Not even Prime WB and Roger could take on a duo of Yonko.

Garp was on the same level as Whitebeard and Roger, and an old, sickly Whitebeard who had issues using Haki was a Yonko. I don't think it's too much of a stretch to say that Garp could take them both, but it would be a Pyrrich victory.

It took Garp and Roger to wipe out the Rocks Pirates; of which Big Mom, Kaido, Whitebeard, Shiki and others were apart of. Also they had a captain, so whoever that guy is must've been insane.

Yet 2 guys with no DF powers wiped them out. That's how OP Roger and Prime Garp are.

So in this fight, Garp wins via the literal lore of One Piece.

2 on once is overkill...i mean for reference Kaido had to fight like 20 different people at one point or another and is still able to take on Gear 5 "Toon" Luffy. And that's Kaido alone. Based on what we have seen from big mom if she really wanted to she could use up most of her soul for a disgusting power boost. I mean....yea no Garp taking a L.

Put it this way. Replace Zoro with Garp...but leave Garp to tank Ocean Sovereignty. Does Garp tank with only a little damage or is he knocked out?

@kajin_style: It was the Rocks Pirates vs Rogers forces and the Marines forces. The context of the fight is vague for us to say they soloed a 2v5. Plus some of these Yonkos weren’t even in their prime. It just doesn’t make sense, and most definitely breaks the scale Oda has established for so long.

It doesn't break the scale. The Rocks Pirates were younger and indeed weren't in their Prime. However, this doesn't mean Garp got any weaker (at least until the current time line). Him and Sengoku were probably the only reasons that neither Yonko could conqueror the world on their own.

That is why both Big Mom and Kaido worked so hard to build their empires. Neither could do it solo and something, someone in the World Government had to of been keeping them at bay. Garp is the obvious choice.

Also that isn’t true. The reason Yonko can’t conquer more than their defined territory was because of the balance established by Warlords and Admirals, as well as other Yonko themselves. This was all said hundreds of chapters ago. Garp didn’t invoke that all by himself…

More like Roger took on the Rocks Captain solo while Garp took on BM, Kaido and Whitebeard. It wouldn't make sense for a Captain like Rocks to share a fight, this is pretty typical of One Piece style. These 3 yonko were also young so them losing to Prime Garp who most likely have Conq. Haki mastered at this point makes total sense.

When Roger and Whitebeard clashed again; Roger only had a few years to live he was ill and short on time. Whitebeard was at his prime at this time and and appears to have mastered his Conq. Haki as well, shown by their clash. Whatever the history between these two, it wasn't sour so they probably spared regularly, which help vastly improve Whitebeard's haki.

Garp in the meantime never dealt with debilitating illnesses like those two did despite his old age. Now you got me wondering how old is current Garp anyway if BM is like in her 60s. Geez...

Looked it up: BM is 63, Garp is 78, kaido 59, Whitebeard 72 when he died.

That means during the Godvalley event BM was 25, Kaido was 21, Whitebeard was 34 and Garp was 40.

The Roger and Whitebeard clash happened 26 years ago which makes Whitebeard 46? Other sources say 44. I think the 2 year time skip is screwing with this. So give or take 2 years for everyone. This gives Whitebeard 10-12 years of time to improve before his met up with Roger and given how chummy they were with each other, you can assume they sparred regularly and that is probably why Whitebeard got so strong in the first place.

Either way, Garp is bloody OP as hell and is a major factor as to why Kaido and Big Mom couldn't take over the world. They had to reach Roger's tier of power to even think of trying to overthrow the world government.

Then you're pulling a lot out of your ass. They're both important people in leadership positions. We have no reason to believe they're just traveling by themselves and happen to be there.

No one in the verse is beating two Yonko together, at least unless there comes some otherwise implication.
