Power Gem or Uni-Power

I was curious about these two Marvel power sources.
Super-powered characters like the Hulk, Gladiator, Sue Storm, Silver Surfer and Spider manhas had the Uni-power.
But what if the had the Power Gem instead like Champion once had?
Would they be more powerful than when they had the Uni-Power?

Uni-Power is better because of its range of ability, the Power Gem only grants unlimited strength, it won't prevent the person getting blitzed or hit telepathically or hit on some other level
 
Power Gem is what you get to bash down bricks like Juggernaut, Hulk or Hercules but it doesn't do much else

Not quite.  The Power Gem lets some one augment or reduce ANY force or energy, not just strength.  The power gem could be used to augment someone's natural telepathic power, their control over say fire, their resistance to damage.  Heck, you could use the power gem to augment the energy coming off a star causing it to supernova.  Any force or energy can be augmented by the power gem, just most of it's wielders never had the intelligence to exploit this ability and if they did they had other gems to power and did not need to use it in the above fashion. "

If you know how to use both perfectly, the Power Gem always wins.

 Uni-power is best for newbies, Power Gem is best for masters
