Superman 1-taps Saiyan Saga characters. Super perfect Cell is Solar system max, given Superman has survived Suneaters explosions (twice) made of his weakness he'd clear if scaling is allowed. Buu or above is a good fight:

Does any of the characters above have feats of Surviving Planet + Physical attacks? Superman was hitting Konvict with Planet level punches, he's used planet level punches like 3 other times. Black hole level strength. Also, the shockwave of his punches cracked the moon, his physical attacks are brutal.

It is so unbelievably painful that people are still flat out ignoring that Vegeta was vastly weakened at that moment, bloody all over and on the verge of unconsciousness.

It really shows alot about peoples knowledge on the series and inability to fairly debate against it. And why I don't hang around DB vs comics that much despite it being unbanned now.

Oh yeah. Let's just ignore that Vegeta was low on ki (directly tied to durability) and on the verge of death. lol. Like he didn't tank an attack more powerful then his own attack which was intended to bust the planet.

I could be wrong, but he clears. His stats seem like too much to overcome.

@cav_tighten: In Dragon Ball, the less ki you have the less durable you are. It's directly tied to their life force. That's why Super Saiyan is more durable then base form. Like when Vegeta tricked Goku into turning back into base in Buu Saga and one shot him.

Characters in Dragon Ball can legit power down to the point were regular humans or bullets could hurt them.

I am not a Proffesor fan, I downright hate PR at times, and yet we agree here. Thats crazy. Clearly its not just me being DB bias. PR sees the DB issues in recent debates.

DB ignores proof of feats and rely on fans making up head canon of their punches being Planet level AP though nothing states or proves this outside "so and so blocks planet busting blasts and yet gets hurt by punches, AP punches confirm!!!" arguments. Yet they cant lift for shit, and ignore energy resistance =/= physical resistance.

You actually have to SCALE characters to get anyone to planet level despite them allegedly shooting planet level blasts this whole time:

I love Dragonball, but Dypso being only lightspeed fast is inconsistent and underwhelming, what is consistent is most episodes being sub-planet level. Why is being FTL relevant and a big deal in Super? Light was supposed to be surpassed in Z, really Dragon Ball by infamous "scaling". When Dypso being Lightspeed+ came out as a "big deal", REAL Z fans were pissed.... Then again, you'd have to be a Real DB fan to get it:

DBZ fans will and always argue that those blasts are AP in planet level not DC. That they "Ki Control" even though plenty of times in anime/manga character state clearly "this attack hit earth it will blow it up!" Like the Galick Gun, Final Flash, and Buu death ball attacks come to mind. So much for Ki Control arguments. I agree with ya there. 99% of attacks are mountain busting or what not, nowhere near moon or planet busting which takes more effort and longer charge up times of senseless yelling to power up.

Are you talking about me? I used this same argument almost a decade ago when DBZ ban was first lifted, then got banned a second time. I always pointed out there punches have no feats of power. DBZ fans then counter with head canon that their punches are AP not DC arguments though Manga nor Anime ever state this clearly. Thus headcanon.

Again, the fact that Lightspeed being brought up as a big deal in Super alone proves my point that DB is inconsistent as a series. All that "Lightspeed scaling" means nothing when Super Retconned it and made Lightspeed a big deal again. On top of that:

• Planet level feats are inconsistent in DB
• B.S. power ups
• Hilariously low physical strength feats of the gauntlet (no feats past continent)

Inconsistency (or at this point, a retcon) isn't noteworthy? Then it applies for DB opponents as well. It's not just Super, but Super retcons anything before it as the most recent incarnation:

Inconsistency and Retcons don't matter..... No wonder Toriyama just allowed anything to happen. Frieza never trained and became God level? Ok. Android 17 went from sub ssj2 to God level? Awesome. They'll accept it.
