Maybe Beak when he still had his powers, but that's pushing it.
Poor Rorschach... Who can he beat?
@thanofleeze: u must not read comicvine. He always loses here
Oh, I probably can't. I just wanted to see if you would actually post something significant, rather than challenge people with negative, but insubstantial, comments.
For what it's worth, it was essentially a character study that turned into a compliment of sorts. So, congrats.

Wat? You said that Rorschach certainly beats Kick-Ass, now you say that you can't prove it (even though you're obligated)? Well, looks like I did a good job then.
@allstarsuperman: Movie Rorschach doesn't suck in fights........
Shame that you can't take a compliment humbly. I will take note of that.
@allstarsuperman: Movie Rorschach doesn't suck in fights........
I know, movie Rorschach is badass, and he would most likely kill kick-ass, most movie watchman had wacky superhuman strength. But the comic version sucks.
@allstarsuperman: Movie Rorschach doesn't suck in fights........
Well, movie Rorschach didn't do anything of significance really. Nite Owl had better feats than him.
Riddler?
No way. Riddler is a martial artist.
Riddler?
No way. Riddler is a martial artist.
What are you basing this on? I have seen him take down some goons with stealth, and beat an already downed villain with his cane, but that is about it.
Rorschach lacks crazy mainstream comic feats so he seams unimpressive compared to martial artists like Batman etc , but that doesn't necessarily make him a bad fighter. In fact the guy is a great brawler capable of taking on six people at once and defeating goons with military training. He combines boxing and grappling techniques with speed , durability ruthless tactics. On top of all that he has a knack for improvisation that enables him to use just about anything as a weapon.
I`m pretty sure that in a fistfight he could defeat noir type vigilantes like the Green Hornet (Britt Reid Sr.),Phantom Reporter (regular non powered), and other non powered crime fighters from the Twelve as well as the best fighters from The Walking Dead tv show.
He could defeat Dexter Morgan, Hannibal Lecter (Hannibal tv show) and some down to earth comic villains like the Penguin,Black Mask, Great White, Zsasz, Calendar man etc.
Aunt May, Mary Jane, Lois Lane, Gwen Stacy, Uncle Ben (only after he was shot)
Harsh
probably not a lot of super heros but he is super tough so i wouldnt feel bad for him for not being able to beat the like of someone such as superman. if you want to feel bad for him for all he has been through than go ahead i wont stop you but if he was real and saw you make fun of him on this topic like this i think he can beat you ;) just kidding i wouldnt actually want him to hurt anyone irl but seriously he can beat a lot of thugs just not a lot of superheros
Well, Rorschach can certainly beat The Question (no question about that, with The Question #17 confirming that beyond all doubt). And given that Question had already been trained in the martial arts by Richard Dragon by that point in the series, I'd say that indicates Rorschach could defeat plenty of people in combat. Also worth mentioning- that fight where he got smacked down by Ozymandias, took place immediately after he'd taken a long and arduous trek across the Antarctic tundra for several miles just to get there, without any thermal protection save for his regular clothing.
@thanofleeze: The really sad part is that it's probably true.
@allstarsuperman: of course he can- you guys are having a laugh. I get that he has hardly any feats but he would own kick ass
No he would not. Not unless you can actually prove it. Which so far everyone has failed to do.
@allstarsuperman: I'm sure you are reasonable enough to understand that Kickass would lose to Rorschach...

Again:
No he would not. Not unless you can actually prove it. Which so far everyone has failed to do.
Rorschach is high balled lately, cause idk why? He looks cool. And people still think of KA as a joke, when he has actually became a much better fighter then he once was.
@allstarsuperman: Rorschach is in no way, shape, or form being "high-balled."* If anything, he's very commonly low-balled like the rest of the Watchmen and many other non-mainstream characters. He has demonstrated enough feats for us to gauge him at a level higher than that of Kickass (despite Dave's more recent improvement as a fighter). Granted, if these two were to fight, it would not be a stomp for either, but Rorschach would win a majority.
I agree with you about most people unfairly writing off Kickass (and Kickass characters in general) like a joke, probably due to his initial appearances. He has indisputably improved, however, not enough to significantly change the outcome of this battle. Rorschach still wins.
Now, before you ask me to "prove it" (and I know you will), please direct your attention to the feats provided in ShenKuei's CaV. He demonstrated plenty of impressive feats (relatively speaking) for Rorschach. I'd do the dirty work myself, but I'm on a mobile and can't post images.
*Although he does look cooler. :-P
@venomoustaco: I saw his CAV, it was awesome, really good read. I even pmd him months ago and we planned on doing his battle, but he left the site. I have another cav for this as well, I just havent started it yet.
he could beat movie versions of lots of people in a good fight i think... Kick Ass, his friends from 2 (besides Hit Girl), Catwoman (all 3 of them probably, -but not at once of course-), Robin (you know, the awful one. lol), and both Jokers, or show versions of Diggle, Arsenal -no miracuru-, and a few of the mid-tier thugs (from Arrow), you just gotta broaden your perspectives i think.
remember that he's actually really resourceful and knows how to weaponize his surroundings. he's really stealthy, fast, and brutal, so i'm sure a few of those would underestimate him or trip up and he'd get in some lucky strikes. just trying to give him some credit...
@dontevenblink: Halle Berry Catwoman was weirdly superhuman and I legitimately don't think he could take her.
Honestly, I think she could play hit and run with Captain America if she were fighting defensively and focusing on his shield. Her durability/damage soak is pretty terrible though.
Kick-Ass, Hit Girl and Big Daddy.
Earth One Batman.
no. He could maybe beat Big Ddaddy cause he is featless. but Hit-Girl ROFLSTOMPS him, and Kick-Ass beats him in decentish fight.
kick-ass
no.
Isn't it pretty fair to assume Big Daddy grossly outclasses Hit Girl?
Isn't it pretty fair to assume Big Daddy grossly outclasses Hit Girl?
Yes and no really. BD is nearly completely featless. And unlike the movie, he wasn't a cop. He was a comic nerd just like Dave, got bored of his life, stole his daughter, faked a story, and trained her from birth. So while Damian did train and stuff, he never would have gotten the killer instinct that Hit-Girl has.
@allstarsuperman: He left? Well that sucks.
Let's just hope the guy you're debating does the Watchmen characters justice.
- Sam Slade
- Kick-Ass could be a good fight depending on setting (though I haven't read Kick-Ass 3 yet)
- Cat Girl
- Phantom Viking (if the wind is blowing from the South)
- Dan Dare
- Riddler
There are probably quite a few, though it seems that being able to beat a group of thugs (which Rorschach has had a inconsistent history of pulling off) is pretty much a prerequisite of American superhero comics.
@i_like_swords: He killed plenty of cops with his flaming bug spray trick though. Don't rate him so low. Remember, Rorschach is basically a hardcore version of The Question with a similar MO and philosophy to that of The Punisher. Who could the Punishing Question beat?
