I do feel the need to qualify that though with the same thing I say in every thread with Arceus in it. That is that games Arceus/lore Arceus/composite Arceus is not the same as anime Arceus. And if it were Arceus from the games it would win here.

they were only stopped by the lake guardians.

in mystery dungeon explorers of sky/time/darkness a weaker and more deranged version of primal dialga was going to erase. whole creation was only stopped when the time gear was returned.

in hgss arceus can create a dialga/palkia/giratina.

and if we go by game lore then arceus is the creator of all.

and in oras, sun and moon, and every mystery dungeon game confirms that pokemon verse is a multi universe if not a multiverse, which also contains several dimensions like dimensions where the ultra beasts came from, parallel universes where only pokemon inhabits etc.

That's the current storyline...which I HATE by the way dude. Mew should've been God but Game Freak changed their mind. Damn them.

Ah,you see,in your first post you said Arceus has universal+ feats,but all you've given are statements.Problem is,Goku's blows in a weaker form were also stated to be able to destroy the universe.Later,his kamehameha was also hyped to be universe busting,before Beerus nullified it.So if we use statements/hype,Goku himself is universal+,with Vegetto being a tier ahead of that.

And if we go by pure feats or even scaling,Arceus outright gets destroyed.So either way really,dbz team takes it.Arceus has no feats of creating or destroying universes.In fact,the pokedex states Arceus shaped the universe with it's 1000 arms,nothing about creation was ever shown.Besides:

mew was never ment to be god.

according to gamefreak themselves there was a time when the species of mew were as common as any other pokemon. they got extinct. they are legends in the same way as genesect.

mewtwo was considered the most powerful pokemon in gen 1.

the whole mewtwo being strongest pokemon in the world statement was made by takeshi shoudo who was only the writer of anime and he had no real authority over pokemon.

mewtwo and mew were dethroned as the strongest way back in gen 3.

when they introduced the likes of deoxys, rayquaza, jirachi etc and that's not hype or by stats but by showings of power and feats.

hell deoxys even owned mewtwo in the manga. and only reason mewtwo even won because of interference of other pokedex holders.

Honest to god people Arceus made the Pokemon universe.

Interpret feats and decide battles however you want but the lore is that Arceus made the Pokemon universe. It did not happen on screen but it happened. It's not questionable that it happened, in the main Pokemon canon anyway. I don't understand why this is so heavily contested. IMO it's just people ignoring common sense in favor of battles forum logic, for the sake of lowballing.

@fat_hobo389: Mega Mewtwo X/Y base stats total says different. 780 makes it one of the best and Mewtwo already had a higher base stat total than Kyogre and Groudon so no Gen 3 didn't dethrone Mewtwo at all imo. Anyway I don't want to get into that debate...Arceus is a dork...the end.
