Pitt vs Solomon Grundy
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pitt_%28comic%29
i would say Pitt because like the hulk Pitt can keep getting stronger, he uses pain as a Stimulant that increases his strength. aside from that he was part of an alien army that would take over other worlds, so he has (alien) military training.

Methos says:
"I'd be interested to see this fight in the comics... Pitt does have the strength advantage, but there isn't a way to put Solomon Grundy down for good... M"
Oh yesh their is :p
But it only happens ever 1000 years and it takes a very powerful magic user to do it, So in no way useful to this topic, IM glad I could help:p
If we are talking about Grundy at his most powerful then he is close to Superman strength and has taken blows from the Man of Steel without significant damage. This and the fact that he is virtually tireless in my mind provides him with a win.
If it is the version of grundy used in JLA recently, then I vote Pitt.
Oh and I don't think that Pitt really gets stronger, not in the strickest sense like the Hulk. Pitt, when he takes damage, has endorphins released in his bloodstrem that make him like the pain and wanrt more - like an adrenal boost. But i do think that he has limits and his strength increase is unlikely to be so dramatic and as quick as the Hulks.
