Ostrich 8/10, but the pitbull is actually a threat. Ostrich often get overwhelmed and killed by predators smaller and weaker than they are and the long neck is a big weakspot that they also expose when they go for a peck, still it's basically a big dinosaur.

The ostrich would stomp on him and maybe peck him, doing serious damage, but not one-shotting and the pitbull would likely try to jump it and if it manages to get the jaws around it's neck and does not let go it would win, otherwise it would sustain too much hack damage after a short while.

but let it be known, that ostriches can't kill lions, lionesses, or hyenas or wild dogs, none of that crew with "One Super Powerful Kick Sharp Talons to The Face." if an ostrich killed any of these guys I mentioned, is because the ostrich kicked it and kept stomping it on the ground till it died. if there's an animal on the savannah who can one-shot are elephants or crocodiles.

Ostrich wins. These are wild animals who have to fight and defend themselves against top predators. They are no K-9 who ends up killing the neighbors cat or or small dog.

There's an video on Dailymotion of an pit meeting an emu in an zoo. That thing, so-said to be "gamebred," didn't even put up a fight against the bird. The emu lunged at the pit, the pit got scared by the bigger size of the emu. So said to be "killer pit" got intimidated. And the emu was just joking too btw! That emu wanted, it would have ripped the pit apart, and between a emu and a ostrich is a thin line. An true gamebred APBT is dangerous, don't get me wrong, but isn't some apex predator in action on top of the food chain. And it's made to fight against other dogs, not ostriches. In this fight, the ostrich looks down the pit, then says "You'll never win that one, little guy." then kicks the pit to Rainbowland, Ostrich wins K.O.
