Sir Crocodile, Former Warlord of the Seven Seas:

No Caption Provided

Bio:

Sir Crocodile is the former president of the mysterious crime syndicate Baroque Works and the main antagonist of the Alabasta Arc and Alabasta Saga as a whole. He is one of the longest running and most noteworthy primary adversaries of the series, as he was the first enemy to hand Luffy a complete and utter defeat, as well as one of only two who has defeated Luffy more than once. He was originally introduced as a Shichibukai, but was later stripped of his title after attempting to take control of the desert kingdom Alabasta.

Thanks to Luffy, he managed to escape from Impel Down and went to Marineford to participate in the war; after that, he and his subordinate Daz Bones decided to head out to the New World.

Powers and Abilities:

Crocodile ate the Logia Devil Fruit, Suna Suna no Mi, allowing him to become, generate, and manipulate sand. He has mastered his ability to the point of perfection and can turn into sand reflexively if attacked; this became especially obvious after Doflamingo cut his head off while he was distracted.

While in a desert area, his powers make him nearly invincible. Crocodile has the ability to create huge sandstorms, make multiple bladed weapons out of sand, and create quicksand (given the presence of a nearby underground waterway.)

He can also suck all the moisture out of any object, living or non-living, by touching it with his right hand. This ability allows him to utterly destroy his surroundings, killing and macerating any biological substances via dehydration.

Despite his powers being of the Logia-type, allowing him to turn into sand to avoid injuries, he has an enormous amount of physical stamina, durability, pain tolerance, speed, resilience and endurance as well. He was able to take a serious beating from Luffy in their third battle while countering with attacks of his own, and he later managed to take a direct strike from a diamond-encased Jozu with only a single burst blood vessel.

In addition to being one of the few characters shown to have some degree of mastery over their Devil Fruit, Crocodile is also formidable in hand-to-hand combat. He fought using only his hook for most of his third match with Luffy, only resorting to his Devil Fruit powers when he finally accepted that things weren't going in his favor. His hook is made mostly out of an extremely tough and resilient gold alloy, which makes it resistant to corrosion. Its durability was shown to be especially impressive when it took no visible damage from Mihawk's Kokuto Yoru as Crocodile defended Luffy from an attack.

The gold part of the hook is hollow and can be removed to expose a poisonous hook hidden inside. This porous secondary hook releases a powerful scorpion venom, which is strong enough to melt through rock and kill anyone with the effect of a single slash.

Physical Capabilities: At a Glance

As you said, both Crocodile and Suigetsu are overall lacking in feats, when compared to others in their respective series. However, Crocodile while a bit limited in showings, has decent stats that allow him to compete physically with the upper tiers of the One Piece cast and consequently Suigetsu.

Strength:

Crocodile has some very good showings in strength. In chapter 570 Crocodile is able to not only evenly clash with Dracule Mihawk, but push him back and deflect his attack.

This can also double as a speed feat for Croc as he was nowhere near Luffy and Mihawk on panel, perceived what was happening and reacted/traveled fast enough to intercept and deflect Mihawk.

This is pretty impressive because Mihawk per chapter 561 can casually do this...

No Caption Provided

Going back to the above scans, Crocodile also evenly clashes with another Warlord, Doflamingo, in chapter 566 and the ensuing shockwave forces several marine soldiers back.

In the final scan, Crocodile is able to carry the bodies of at least a dozen pirates in a large sack with one arm after dehydrating them.

Speed:

Speed is IMO, Crocodile's least defining stat, as he has so little showings but they can easily place him at the very least in the Hypersonic range, in it that along with the Mihawk Intercept feat, his only extended fights are against Luffy in the Alabasta Arc

I have added a few scans from their final fight in chapter 206 to demonstrate his speed at the time. Crocodile was able to keep up, react to , and dodge Luffy's Gum-Gum pistol and gatling. By this time Luffy was arguably Supersonic+ to hypersonic as he could casually react to and dodge bullets which in the OP verse travel at the speed of sound.

For later in the series, we can assume that Crocodile is at least Massively hypersonic as he was easily able to keep up with the likes of Mihawk, Doflamingo, and Akainu during the Whitebeard War. Especially when all of these characters could easily react to and outpace Gear Second Luffy.

Durability/Endurance:

Again, as already stated, Crocodile has relatively limited showings in straight tanking of attacks, due to the nature of his Logia fruit, making him extremely difficult, if not impossible to harm him without Haki or exploiting his natural weaknesses.

However the showings he does have are impressive as seen in the first three scans. These are from chapter 209, where an already injured Croc was taking a full on assault from Luffy and still keep fighting. Luffy was at least Multi-City Block in Striking Strength at this point.

No Caption Provided

This is arguably Crocodile's best feat so far when in comes to straight tanking. Croc tanks an unexpected Haki infused attack from "Diamond"Jozu, a top-tier Whitebeard Commander, on-par with Ace, and Marco at least and who can make his skin as hard as diamond. Croc takes this attack and quickly recovers and only comes out with a popped blood vessel.

This is impressive as this was the only real injury that Croc suffered in the entire war, despite clashing with the likes of Luffy, Akainu, Doflamingo, and Mihawk during the War, and coming out relatively unscathed.

Devil Fruit Mastery:

Crocodile is one of the few not just Logia, but Devil fruit users in general who has mastered their fruit and as such has extensive showings in it. I'll show a little for now and save some for later after your post to see what I have to bring to the table.

Recommended Reading; Alabasta Arc: 177-182, 198-212; Whitebeard War: 560-566, 570-597

Invulnerability/Regeneration:

The Suna Suna no Mi is a Logia type devil fruit. as such without manipulating certain weaknesses Crocodile is completely immune to regular blows as his body is will turn to sand.

Crocodile is unharmed and regens from unexpected beheadings, being totally destroyed, split in half, and being skewered.

Creating Sandstorms and Desert Spada:

Crocodile can conjure sandstorms using his sand manipulation that destroy multiple Large Buildings and City Blocks.

Opening Thoughts:

Crocodile's physical stats at this point should more than enough to keep up with Suigetsu. Its going to come down to Water vs Sand , and The Executioner's Blade won't be a factor unless Suigetsu can tag Croc with water. Speaking of that, while Suigetsu has access to Crocodile's one glaring weakness in water, Crocodile has ways to stay out of his range and keep an advantage. I'll get into all the reasons why later, but for now, a couple good examples are his Desert Spada or Sables.

  • Desert Spada(Treasured Sword of Desert): Crocodile forms his right hand into a loose blade of fast-moving sand and then stabs it into the ground, extending it along the ground like a torpedo, splitting anything in its path, including the very ground itself, through extreme and focused erosion, created by the sand blade.
  • Sables (Sandstorm): Crocodile summons a massive tornado of sand and sends it on a rampage. Once this sandstorm grows large enough, not even he can stop it. He can also make a sandstorm that can suck the water out of living things and is apparently able to crack steel. Another usage is to send people flying with this technique. In deserts, it can cross the length of a small country and many of them in succession over a period of time can bury an entire city.

Crocodile can easily keep Suigetsu pinned to one area and wear his Hydrafiction and Chakra down. I will get into a more conceivable strategy after I see yours and your counters, but one main advantage is that Suigetsu will eventually run out of Chakra, while Crocodile will still be able to keep fighting strong.

Suigetsu's Mindset

Suigetsu is a very intelligent fighter, so much so that he was able to analyze Killer Bee and conclude that he was an experienced swordsman just by glancing at him. He also has no morals, and is described by Kisame as a prodigy in the art of murder.

Because of this mindset and how he fights, Suigetsu will immediately exploit Crocodile's weakness as soon as he sees it, which may cause Croc trouble considering Suigetsu's abilities.

Suigetsu shows that he is very confident in his abilities as well, having threatened Sasuke multiple times with a straight face. He has also taken on hundreds of skilled soldiers at once while unarmed, showing a great degree of fighting skill.

Suigetsu's willingness to kill in-character, while good for this fight is no problem. Croc has faced bloodlusted opponents, come out just fine, and is more than willing to kill as well. Crocodile has a no-nonsense, and pitiless nature. He is quick to sentence someone to death and won't think twice about it.

I have no doubt he will suspect Crocodile's weakness to water, after all he is a sand user and Suigetsu is a water user, but Croc can exploit Suigetsu being water as well. I will get more into this later.

I won't lie, Croc is extremely confident in his abilities as well, so they both pretty prideful characters. as for the skill, I'm sure Croc could take those soldiers as well, he'd just do it a bit differently is all...

No Caption Provided

This shows that Suigetsu outskills Crocodile without a doubt, which may give him the upper hand for what he lacks in strength.

Even if Suigetsu has greater raw skill than Crocodile, how is he even going to get close when Croc can keep him at a distance with Sables, Desert Spada, or Ground Death? In the event that he does is he faster than Luffy? He'll have to be at least that fast to hope to tag Croc, and even then he would have hit him with water first, which a determined Croc isn't letting him do at all.

Strength

Im not gonna pussyfoot around it or make excuses, I'll just say it. Crocodile is most definitely stronger than Suigetsu based on his clash with Mihawk, but due to my previous point, he should be able to substitute strength with skill.

Glad we can agree on this, I also won't be arguing pure physical skill over Suigetsu, as Croc has little to no definitive feats regarding this.

More Speed Feats

Suigetsu is very fast in reactions as well as combat speed, as seen when he blocks an attack from a bloodlusted Raikage, someone who is easily MHS++.

This speed feat alone puts Suigetsu on par with or better than Croc in terms of raw speed, but fear not, there are more.

Solid feat, not a lot for me to say here

Here Suigetsu easily reacts to Jugo, another hypersonic (bare minimum) opponent.

My problem with this, is that this seems more like a Hydrafication feat than raw speed. Doesn't Suigetsu usually have his hydrafication active, not unlike a logia in One Piece? In that way he isn't so much reacting, but more tanking Jugo.

Here Suigetsu's "Double Gun" is fast enough to tag and even slightly damage Obito who, like the Raikage, is a MHS++ opponent.

Okay this was not Obito, Obito was no where near Taka at this time. He was being controlled by Black Zetsu, and was distracting Kakashi and Minato, so Madara could become Juudara. This was Yamato covered by the Zetsu Shell thing from before.

Yamato/Zetsu was no feats to even prove that he was anywhere fast enough near Hypersonic, so I have to doubt this as a solid speed feat for Suigetsu.

Crocodile's physical durability may be impressive, but with Suigetsu's ability he has no need to take attacks from Croc. He has shown that he will usually use his Hydrafication technique to no-sell the attack, and then he shuts the ability off in order to conserve chakra. This means that Suigetsu can no-sell all of Crocodile's attacks while dealing potentially game ending attacks of his own.

Endurance/Durability

Crocodile's physical durability may be impressive, but with Suigetsu's ability he has no need to take attacks from Croc. He has shown that he will usually use his Hydrafication technique to no-sell the attack, and then he shuts the ability off in order to conserve chakra. This means that Suigetsu can no-sell all of Crocodile's attacks while dealing potentially game ending attacks of his own.

This is the perfect time to unveil Crocodile's durability negation and weakness counter ability:

Manual Dehydration:

Sorry the scans are in reverse.

Crocodile, using his right hand he can drain the moisture out of anything he touches which makes people and plants wither and stone, earth, or metal as well as other solid objects turn to sand. This helps counter his main weakness of water. Croc is one of the few, if not the only Devil fruit user who has a direct counter to his weakness.

Crocodile can just drain Suigetsu dry of is water, and he is fast enough to tag him with his right hand. using this Croc can easily bypass any and all durability Suigetsu has. Crocodile can easily do this by first forcing Suigetsu on the defensive, with any of his Sandstorm abilities, turn into sand to blitz him, and end the fight by sucking him of all his moisture.

Current Strategy

This is how I see the fight going down:

Suigetsu allows himself to get hit by Croc, then uses his ability to trap Crocodile's hand/hook within his body, allowing him to fire off "Double Gun" at close range. After Crocodile's intangibility is eliminated, Suigetsu will proceed to bisect him with The Executioner's Blade, ending the match.

It seems your strategy relies on Crocodile getting close. A few things, Croc likes to start his fights from a distance, with Sables or Desert Spada. When Suigetsu is hit by those and maybe reforms, Croc will notice he is water and the act accordingly. He is more versatile than Suigetsu and can have multiple ways of taking him down.

I'll lay out a full list of what he can do:

  • Desert Spada(Treasured Sword of Desert): Crocodile forms his right hand into a loose blade of fast-moving sand and then stabs it into the ground, extending it along the ground like a torpedo, splitting anything in its path, including the very ground itself, through extreme and focused erosion, created by the sand blade.
  • Desert la Spada (Adamant Treasure Sword of Desert): An altered version of Desert Spada. Crocodile now forms several solid blades with fan-shaped edges instead of one large blade made from sand.
  • Desert Girasole (Desert Sunflower):Crocodile creates a loose sand blade from his right hand with Desert Spada. Like Desert Spada, He stabs it into the ground causing an area in front of him to collapse. However, a giant pit of quicksand will be formed instead, with the sand being taking away by underground rivers (which he can detect). Anything caught in the pit will be sucked in and buried alive. This attack can only be done in a desert terrain.
  • Barchan (Crescent-Shaped Dune):Crocodile swings his right arm forward while leaving a crescent shaped trail of sand behind it. Anything hit by that trail is instantly robbed of all moisture because of Crocodile's dehydration ability.
  • Desert Encierro (Desert Prison):Crocodile grabs someone with his right hand, then slowly or quickly drains the moisture from them with his dehydration ability. This leaves them in a withered and seemingly fleshless state.
  • Sables: Pesado (Sandstorm: Heavy):Crocodile gathers a swirling mass of extremely dense sand in his hand, then hurls it at his opponent, causing a massive shockwave upon impact.
  • Ground Seco (Ground Drying):Crocodile places his hand on the ground and uses his dehydration ability to dry out a huge area around him, turning it into a desert wasteland. When he does this, it also can cause the area around him to crumble and cave in, causing unfortunate foes to fall to their death.
  • Ground Death (Cycle of Erosion): An extremely strong version of Ground Seco. However, Crocodile not only dries up the ground but anything and everything on it including people and even buildings, all of which is transformed into sand if it has steady contact with the ground. The speed at which things dry also seemingly increases.

Closing Strategy on why Crocodile can win:

Physicals that can rival Suigetsu's own, that allow him to react and keep pace with anything he does.

Crocodile doesn't have to be close to Suigetsu to win, he can blast him with his Sables, Desert Spada, or Ground Death, which all erode and dry anything in their path, which they are capable of downing Suigetsu.

This can also be done through the air as Crocodile is able to fly/float due to his Devil fruit, gaining an aerial advantage Suigetsu can not cope with.

Should it come to close quarters, I don't see Suigetsu being faster than Mihawk, Doflamingo, or Luffy, Base or Gear 2, all people Croc has kept paced or even out-paced at times. Especially with turning into sand for additional speed that blitz Luffy.

Once it gets to CQC, Crocdile can just dehydrate Suigetsu by touching him and absorbing his Hydrafication or using Barchan, which instantly robs moisture of whatever it touches.

Counters & Strategy III:

Mindsets:

Crocodile's willingness to kill

While Croc may have no qualms about killing people, Suigetsu on the other hand, has been called sadistic and crazy by Kisame of all people, and will gladly kill anyone who makes him angry. This is shown when he kills someone that Sasuke had ordered him not to just because he enjoyed doing it so much.

Suigetsu does take pride in his abilities, but not to the point of arrogance, while Crocodile has been shown to be very arrogant. Against a calculative an skilled fighter such as Suigetsu, this could cause him some trouble.

If Crocodile had only appeared in the Alabasta arc and not Impel Down or the Whitebeard War, I would most likely have conceded this point. But this arrogant nature of his only came into play when he when up against Luffy then. You have to remember by that point in the series, Croc had become an extremely pessimistic character and had all but given up in his dreams, along with not having to face an opponent with Luffy's tenacity, luck, or surprising power in a long time, in a sense making him rusty.

Crocodile all but loses this mental disadvantage, post Impel Down. While he is still very arrogant and dismissive, he is surely no longer rusty, and takes his battles much more seriously, he was involved in the War of the Best after all and came out with hardly any injuries. Besides that Crocodile is a very intelligent man himself, with the Baroque Works Saga being a testament to that.

Crocodile's Attacks

Most if not all of the attacks you have shown Croc performing have been done while he was in Alabasta, a desert. Not only has he not shown the ability to use such high magnitude attacks in a non-biased environment, but he hasn't shown the ability to use anything good enough to phase Suigetsu when not in a desert area (excluding Barchan & Encierro).

Ah but he has shown many abilities outside of a desert environment, I'll provide scans below.

Loading Video...
No Caption Provided

The above scans display different forms of Desert Spada, one being used on Akainu, and the other used in the Alabasta Capital Lawn , a non-desert environment.

No argument for this one, but he doesn't really need it here.

You didn't argue against either of these, so I'm assuming we agree he doesn't need a desert for this.

  • Sables: Pesado (Sandstorm: Heavy):Crocodile gathers a swirling mass of extremely dense sand in his hand, then hurls it at his opponent, causing a massive shockwave upon impact.

In both scans, Crocodile uses Sables and Sables: Pesado, the first being Impel Down and the Pesado in his appearance at the Whitebeard War, neither of which required a desert to be used.

These are both merely enhanced versions of Encierro. He just applies it to the environment he is in like this:

No Caption Provided

So as we can both see, Crocodile can use his arsenal to the fullest even while not in a desert environment. And all of these as I have stated can erode and dry their targets upon impact and I honestly do not see how Suigetsu gets around Crocodile's sheer versatility.

Suigetsu's Hydrafication Technique

You have inquired on whether or not Suigetsu has to activate his ability himself, and the answer is yes, he does. The technique is still a jutsu, just one that is activated mentally like the abilities of multiple Dojutsu. Therefore, the feat of him activating the abiity stands as a reaction feat.

Very well, fair enough. However Crocodile can still keep him at bay with any of his abilities, or just absorb him, as I have already shown.

Speed Feat Validation

While you are correct that that was not Obito, you were wrong in saying that the character Suigetsu hit was featless. The Zetsu suit worn by Yamato was powerful enough to allow an injured Obito to blitz 30+ Kirigakure Jonin. This is impressive because not only were they Jonin, they the Anbu elite also, and considering even Genin are supersonic, these ninja must have been in the low hypersonic range at least.

With this feat in mind, in actuality Suigetsu was still hitting a highly hypersonic opponent with his "Double Gun"

You state here that the suit allowed Obito to use his abilities to blitz the Jonin, since he was injured and still recovering from his war injuries, acting as a prothesis. So it still stands, the suit itself is still featless, as it requires a host to be effective and uses the powers and abilities of its host body.

IIRC Yamato or the suit by itself have no great or consistent speed feat to classify him as a Hypersonic or higher individual. So in reality Suigetsu was not hitting a highly hypersonic opponent, at least not a proven one anyway.

Why Suigetsu wont be tagged

You have shown that Croc has a valid way to take Suigetsu out, his dehydration technique, but with Crocodile's and Suigetsu's speed feats compared side-by-side, I dont see him tagging him with it.

My reasoning behind this is that Suigetsu has intercepted the Raikage, someone who,by feats, is faster than anyone Crocodile could ever hope to keep up with.

Another point worth mentioning is that without knowledge for Croc, Suigetsu has an immediate advantage walking into this fight, because while Crocodile has abilities that wont hinder Suigetsu (excluding Barchan & Encierro), Suigetsu is Crocodile's glaring weakness in the form of a highly skilled ninja genius.

Coming back to the Raikage feat, while I stand by statement that it is a solid one for Suigetsu, the Raikage was heavily telegraphing his attack and Suigetsu was already close to Sasuke to save him. For comparison I will place, my full Mihawk feat below:

While Suigetsu, was at least relatively close to Sasuke, Crocodile was no where near Luffy and Mihawk. Both Mihawk and the Raikage are Massively Hypersonic. But the fact remains that I consider Crocodile's more impressive as he had to first react and realize that Mihawk was about to take out Luffy, traverse a battlefield littered with combatants, and then get in Mihawk's way to deflect his blade.

Therefore with their limited showings, I still think Croc has the slight edge in speed. Suigetsu will be tagged. Another point to this is that Suigetsu to my knowledge has never reacted to and dodged AOE attacks like Crocdile's. They are just too big and fast for Suigetsu to effectively outmanuever, leaving him easily dehydrated by Crocodile.

Without Knowledge of Crocodile, Suigetsu will charge him with his sword, like how he usually starts fight with it, not use his water abilities, besides Hydrafication. This gives Croc the opportunity to erode the sword forcing Suigetsu to use his water, exposing himself to Croc, who will develop an according strategy.

Suigetsu's overwhelming skill advantage

Suigetsu has been training with swords, and in combat in general, ever since he was a child. This is displayed when he crosses blades with the likes of Darui, Killer Bee, and Kisame.

Croc does not have any raw skill feats to my knowledge, so like a said I won't arguing this. He more than makes for this with his speed and Devil Fruit skill however, balancing this out. Again, Suigetsu can't even get close to Croc without taking hits, most of which could be fatal due to dehydration.

Other useful techniques

Here we see that Suigetsu is capable of using water clones so effectively that even an experienced sensory type ninja like Karin couldn't tell the difference.

Here we see that with the water left from using his Hydrafication Technique, Suigetsu can quickly form a bubble around his opponents head to drown them.

Any water clones, Suigetsu throws out, Croc can just take them out with a Sables.

Suigetsu only uses that technique IIRC, when an opponent makes the same mistake Jugo does, rushing him head on and falling for his hydrafication, which I can assure you Croc is too smart for that.

How Suigetsu can counter dehydration techniques

You have even said yourself that Croc wont activate his DF abilities in a 1v1 until the fight starts going downhill, meaning that in a random encounter Suigetsu holds all of the advantages while Crocodile holds none.

You are taking my statement out of context, I said this: He fought using only his hook for most of his third match with Luffy, only resorting to his Devil Fruit powers when he finally accepted that things weren't going in his favor.

This was his third match with Luffy, and he was using his blood to hit Crocodile. Two things that you are missing here. This is Alabasta mindset Croc meaning he is rusty and disillusioned, so he is not taking this fight as seriously for the next reason. That being that Luffy had been poisoned by Croc's hook, and Croc just wanted to wear Luffy out by dodging long enough for it to take effect, feeling he had no need to use his DF until he saw that Luffy wasn't going down.

Besides Crocodile always starts his fights with his Devil fruit 1v1 or not, we both know this, and I have shown this.

How The Executioner's Blade will come into play

Suigetsu's blade will most definitely play a part in this fight, because not only has Suigetsu crossed blades with the best swordsman in the series, but even one strike from his sword does this:

Suigetsu still needs to tag Croc with water for this to have any effect, and by that time Croc will have already disarmed Suigetsu by taking out the sword, by separating them with a Sables or drying it out manually.

Ending Thoughts/Conclusions

With Suigetsu's superior speed, fighting skill, and his elemental advantage, I dont see many ways that Croc could win, seeing as all of his abilities (including Barchan & Encierro) are countered by this being a random encounter, as well as by Suigetsu's elemental advantage.

I still beleive Crocodile has the edge in speed, devil fruit skill to counter fighting skill, and elemental counter to win. I have proven and already stated that Croc has many ways to win, from incapacitating him with a Sables, Desert Spada, which can dehydrate automatically or just straight out using Barchan or Encierro to dehydrate him manually for a win.

My Final thoughts:

Most of my strategy has not changed, as I don't believe Suigetsu has any decent and consistent way of countering them. Crocodile still has all of these options:

  • Physicals that can rival Suigetsu's own, that allow him to react and keep pace with anything he does.
  • Crocodile doesn't have to be close to Suigetsu to win, he can blast him with his Sables, Desert Spada, or Ground Death, which all erode and dry anything in their path, which they are capable of downing Suigetsu.
  • This can also be done through the air as Crocodile is able to fly/float due to his Devil fruit, gaining an aerial advantage Suigetsu can not cope with.
  • Should it come to close quarters,Croc can easily turn into sand for an additional speed that is capable of blitzing Luffy or Mihawk
  • Once it gets to CQC, Crocdile can just dehydrate Suigetsu or his word by touching him or it and absorbing his Hydrafication or using Barchan, which instantly robs moisture of whatever it touches.
  • Suigetsu's chakra will eventually run out, while Crocodile can outlast him in stamina, Croc can just bait out all of his techniques and wear him down for a win.

@valor_175: I'm all done ready to open for voting? Great job on this btw, it was as close as I expected it to be and challenging to debate. Especially with you also doing you CAV with NormanBates, which looks dope btw. Kudos

Nice CaV and nice idea.

A close call but my vote goes to @darthjhawk, because he explained how Crocoboy could deal with suigetsu attacks and use his ranged attacks to bring the fight in his favour and using better the feats at his disposal. @valor_175 proved he is more skilled, has a better mentality, he is faster and can use clones to help him fighting, but Croc thanks to flight and ranged attacks, similar physical and better techniques can overcome him.

Good job to both of you and it's a shame Suigetsu didn't get more/better feats because i feel this could have gone in a different way

@kamishini: Thanks for the votes and feedback. And you're right, if Suigetsu had more time to get more feats, Croc would probably have been at a bigger disadvantage.

@emperorthanos: lmao, its probably just my personality and mindset with stuff like this. I love debating, but I hate feeling like I am leaving someone waiting or being unreliable/unresponsive, so i try to get my stuff in asap.

I'll give it to Darth. The versatility and range of croc he displayed made me think croc should win this battle. You both did amazing jobs though! Especially considering the little amount you had to work with

@valor_175: @darthjhawk: Not gonna lie for two relatively new people who I barely hear of, you guys had an amazing CAV with a well-organized format.

But I'll give my vote to Darth, his strategy wasn't particularly countered, and his opponent kept bringing up morals and skill when that mattered little in this fight. Crocodile's AOE moves and techniques should be more than enough to take out Suigetsu and I wish that was emphasized on more.

I have to agree with kamishini, crocoboy looks like he's got this due to ranged disruption and dehydration. Had suigetsu had more feats and showings of better water jutsu I would probably side with him. Fantastic CaV on both your parts though!

Also just curious if suigetsu got tagged by poison hook could he liquefy and be unphased?

@back_stabbath95: thank you for the vote!

And I think Valor might know better than me, but I think Suigetsu would be fine if he did that he could just dispel that part of his body I think and reform.

I know I wasn't tagged but one of Suigetsu glaring issues with he constantly needs a water bottle and or some water on hand as he gets dehydrated fairly quickly.

This against Crocodile is a issue with the whole sand drain. Fun to read this cav tho always enjoy seeing stuff I may have missed on characters.
