Who wins and why?

hard to say. the five grand elemental spirit are more than capable of hitting through the three admiral's logia intangibility but the shamans summoning them can be easily taken out as well. i'd choose the five grand elemental spirits for sheer power

Do you think either group could utilize team work to their advantage?

I say Admirals but the last time I watch Shaman King was like 5-6 years ago.

@randomcharachter: I'm still reading, but you know how umm... Hao?... Yoh's twin, you know how he had the fire elemental spirit. Well those five shown each get their own spirit, lyserg taking the fire spirit I believe... Still reading like I said. But yeah, Yoh get's earth, Ren Thunder, Chocolove Wind, and Horohoro water. I was in the same boat as you until I saw this little goldmine of info somewhere else lol. As for my decision, I'm gonna have to go with the Shamans. THe admirals either hate each other or give no shits whereas the shamans have all been partners. That and the spirits they have.

I don't think the admirals really hate each other? at least not aokiji and kizaru? And akainu did spare aokiji..

@randomcharachter: bason didn't turn into a robot. horo-horo didn't get pussified. yoh asakura got an awesome looking weapon. chocolove got stronger. lyserg became more bad-ass. you really need to read the manga for it.
