The two teams meet up in their personal universes and then get transported by Lord Chaos and Master Order into the Negative Zone.

Going with the Marvel duo here after a good fight.

No Franklin Richards for Onslaught? Then the DC team should win with Despero being the mvp. Correct me f im wrong but isnt Maxima also a better TP user than Moondragon?

Despero has been able to resist MMH's TP and has even been able to wreck him in one

Franklin was a reality warper at the time through, not TP. Onslaught is still Xavier+ with enough in the tank to beat Despero, especially considering Despero is all power but legitimately no skill to go around.

Current Moondragon is a lot better than Maxima. Her best fights have all been rather underwhelming and she's been resisted by a ton of guys.

Onslaught is basically Nate Grey + Bloodlusted Professor X, and since he doesn't have a brain, do telepathic attacks even work against him lol?

Moondragon appears far above Maxima to me

Onslaught can beat Despero in a tough fight and Moondragon beats Maxima without much issue.

Onslaught demonstrated high end psionics that appear to eclipse even someone like Despero who post crisis, scaled off Martian Manhunter mainly. Not to undermine Despero, he was clearly above the Martian, but I give him a short leash outside of that. Maxima is not a bad telepath at all, she was shown superior to Brainiac for example. Better than Moondragon? I guess? Moondragon isn't a bad telepath in her own right, but I give this to Onslaught and Moondragon.

Maxima is a bit of a weak link tbh.

I do disagree with Despero being fodder and inexperienced though.

I mean, it's more of a issue of DC not really focusing on TP skill and more so on raw stats. Despero is very much the latter, a lot of TP power but not a lot of nusanced stuff like you'd see Marvel focusing on.
