VS
- No prep
- In character but pissed
- Win by any means
I expect Sweet Mask to be very powerful in the future but as of now Atomic Samurai has much better feats.
I think Sweet Mask will probably have a hulked out monster form.
Mask beat a Dragon level threat in his monster form, and has a strange regen ability that is most likely gonna help him a lot.
This was already a good fight before Amai was revealed to be a monster and is stronger when he enters his monster mode. To the point where he one shotted a high dragon.
That’s a feat above Bangs.
I think Sweet Mask will probably have a hulked out monster form.
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Sweet Mask wrecks. Atomic Samurai's best attack couldn't even handle G5, a high demon, while Sweet Mask is easily high dragon level based on his performance against the Pesky Clown.
If he was actually in the S-Class, he'd easily be in the Top 10 for overall power.
@necromancer76: No, Atomic's best attack is his focused slash which he didn't use on G5. Atomic wasn't even treating him that seriously and allowed him to go all-out before cutting him down.
I think Amai wins if we go purely by feats
but Kamikaze should be stronger by intent, he just need more feats and not get countered.
@gangorca: The Focused Atomic Slash has pros and cons relative to the Atomic Slash, but he also cannot use it to its full potential yet, as evidenced by him injuring himself after using it. Then there's the fact that it takes time to complete, as seen by Black Sperm beating him down before he can complete the attack. So until he fully masters the technique, the Atomic Slash is still his best attack.
And yet he still didn't damage the real G5 with his attack. Whether he was trying his hardest or not doesn't provide any defense against the fact that the Atomic Slash didn't instantly kill a high demon. Conversely, Sweet Mask can one-shot high dragons while weakened.
@necromancer76: His focused slash is still more powerful than his regular slash. It likely could've done G5 in if Atomic decided to use it. I doubt G5 couldn't be damaged by regular slashes if Atomic tried but no doubt Amai would be able to destroy G5 without having to go all-out. Sweet Mask wins because Atomic can't take his attacks while Sweet Mask can do vise versa.
It's actually hard to get a solid grasp on how powerful OPM characters are. But from everything we've seen, Atomic should stomp.
Why do you say that. Regardless on how I feel on OPM, one quality that never went down was it's ability to show how powerful characters are and being consistent in power lvls (when compared to other shonen anyways)
Why do you say that.
My main and most important reason is how the characters treat and talk about each other. How they respect and consider Amai Mask, while fittingly, how he's smug and acts like he's superior. There's really no feats justifying this, but it's a clear pattern with his appearances.
The second reason is how characters "power-creep" or achieve feats out of their normal ballpark for the sake of story and narrative. Where for example, almost all S-Class Heroes were relevant and dealt damage to Psykos towards the end of the fight against her.
one quality that never went down was it's ability to show how powerful characters are and being consistent in power lvls
I won't say other verses necessarily do it better, but damn, the scaling and power levels towards the end of the monster association arc was not good or consistent, imo.
@ben2004: Nono, don't get me wrong. It's great in terms of quality. But in terms of power scaling and consistency, that battle was wild.
Here's the chapter (138). And the likes of TTM stopped Psykos beam by throwing some debris, etc.
