@flashback0180: This was all retconned IIRC by Geoff Johns and Izaya and Uxas are no longer mud grubbers but sons of the Old God Zonus (Yuga Khan)..So that feat isn't valid anymore
What feats does HF have to put him on Odin's level?
@jaggernutt: stalemating true form darkseid for 7 says straight, Considered the strongest of the New Gods, Created Takion a being who is one with the Source itself, this same takion can fight white lanterns, Member of the Quintessence so you can scale him relative to his peers aka Phantom stranger, Ganthet, Zeus etc, his staff alone holds the power of the source itself, He amped Superboy and Supergirl with (btw just a fraction of his power) enough power to take on Darkseid
From what I can Understand, Power Scaling in DC is higher than that of Marvel and because of the people seem to get the wrong idea about Darkseid and other beings of his caliber. In no way is Superman stronger than Darkseid. Superman is as strong as Darkseid's avatars but not his true self, which according to Morrison is too powerful to even exist in the same plane of the multiverse as Superman and the others. The same goes for Highfather who is considered to be an equal or of slightly ihigher power than that of Darkseid. Also DC's version of Gods are different in power scaling compared to marvels version. As a guy mentioned in earlier comments, Marvel's Odin and Zeus are merely strong beings considered to be Gods by humans While DC Zeus and others are truly Divine and they too exist in their on plane or universe out the multiverse. So compared to this Odin is someone who exists within a particular marvel universe and doesnt exist on a multiversal scale while the DC counterparts actually do, and DC's Darkseid and Highfather are New Gods which exceeds in power compared to the old gods such as Zeus and others. Meaning Basically even though Odin is a very powerful being compared to marvel beings they are not quite on the same scale as Darkseid or others when you look at the canon stories. Galactus is more of match to Highfather and Darkseid than Odin. As from comics, its clearly mentioned Galactus too is a multiversal being and his form is also too powerful to exist in the universe and perceive so people who face him usually sees his form as what their minds can fathom and not his true self. And if anyone here is going to say Odin > Galactus then please pick up a comic. Galactus when in full energy is always a multiversal being while a starving galactus is more of Odins level. The only other times Galactus seems to lose to either poor writing or plot armor. And Like I mentioned earlier there is a huge gap in power scaling between the Two Comic worlds. Even though characters might seem similar there are entirely different in terms of power when you take that into account.
Highfather barely has any feats, and the ones he does have aren't really impressive. Odin would very quickly win.

This.
Highfather one shots by scaling, he is a transcendant god directly connected to the source, which is Marvel equivallent of Fulcrum, an outerversal aspect of true omnipotence. Further proved by the fact he was stalemating true Darkseid, who is multiversal.
Odin is an entire below the likes of Eternity, a below single-universal level being. I'd put Odin at galaxy level. They are tiers apart.

In OP its clearly stated that highfather cannot use the connection to the source. What is your point here?
Saying that he wins because of the connection with the source that is not allowed here is absurd and invalid, just as feats done with the power of the source are in this fight.
Odin wins. HE doesn't stomp, but wins.
@tzimiscelord: he still has no way of hurting a transcendent being with Odinforce. And all of HF's power IS the source, so op obviously just meant HF can't be source powered like when he broke the source wall. But his default power still stands, obviously, otherwise it's "Galactus without power cosmic" kinda absurd, a non existent character.
Multiversal HF oneshots galaxy tier fodder "god"

Everything is connected to the Source. Highfather can channel the Source better and actually communicate with it but it's absurd to claim he has unlimited power just because he is connected to the Source.
I also doubt this thread was supposed to be about Highfather's True From. We never saw his True Form do anything except vague statements by Metron about it's war against Darkseid, which was a war between two entire planets and not just Highfather and Darkseid.
OT: Odin wins by feats and for being more battle-ready. Highfather's a pacifist and although he is awesome and I like him more as a character, his lack of battles make it hard for him to compete against someone with as many showings as Odin.

Take everything you read on Comic Vine with a grain of salt folks. There's always these people who will mix fake feats wth real feats and create comletely wrong pictures of the characters.
@thoromdil: He can hurt the likes of Highfather with the odinforce perfectly and just fine, dude XD.
HF,s default power, featwise, is below odin, so "multiversal HF" is getting his skull caved in by Grungir sooner or later.
Odin have better and more numerous showings of power in-panel.
Odin stomp. Highfather Bitches are losers.
@manofmanynames2: Odin bitch are hungry. ha ha ha
@manofmanynames2: Odin bitch are hungry. ha ha ha
Name a single time Highfather has done anything to put him on Odin's level.
Izaya is empowered by the source, which is above odin.
He doesn't use the full power of it though. And the OP says he can't use it anyway.
OT: Still Odin.
Odin has combat feats and way more impressive. Going from multi-galaxy+ to Universal+. And even multiversal with highball. He wins easily.
Without hax highfather has no chance. Odin outclasses him in stats, even without outliers.
@sladeracer: Highfather didn't do much to Darkseid in that instance iirc. Darkseid was sucked into the Source when Orion blasted him into it while DS already wasted enough energy with Izaya and trying to open the Source itself.
@takenstew22: Yea but Izaya plan worked. To weaken Ds enough for Orion to blast him there. Fate sealed. Which idk if Odin can survive
ALE Darkseid during that story doesn't really have any other feats besides making a blast that covers a billion mile wide/million mile high barrior.
@manofmanynames2: Odin bitch are hungry. ha ha ha
Exactly. Stay silent. Odin stomps, cry about it.
Highfather only really scales to Darkseid, which is bad enough already.
Odin stomps Darkseid as well.
Marvel’s Odin is too much for Highfather from what I know (I haven’t kept up with the New 52 or Rebirth) but there’s no shame in that. Highfather is Darkseid’s near-equal with less feats and more implied power.
@eredin12: @spydey328: @takenstew22: @manofmanynames2: @tifalockhart: @manofmanynames2: Odin bitches still don't accept defeat.
@chaliesbadblood: What is it with you and being salty about Odin?
