@newworldorder: @supermanwithatan01:
Classic Strange fought to a standstill with Agamotto, broke out of Living Tribunal's restrains, and my favourite, owned Pre-Retcon Beyonder.
@bladeoffury: none of that is true without context.
Alright, what is preventing him from stopping time and then doing whatever he wants to Nate and Thor?
Alright, what is preventing him from stopping time and then doing whatever he wants to Nate and Thor?
The Odin Force should protect Thor from time manipulation as it can give its user manipulation over time and space.
@bladeoffury: Nate can enter the time stream at will, actually more casually than Strange. Odinforce protects Thor from time effects. They can all pull victories against one another.

Can is the key word. The full potential of the Odinforce can be reached depending on the user. Thor has never shown such ability IIRC, and we go by feats, not statements. There is nothing to suggest that Thor can manipulate time, since he is not as experienced with the OF as his father.

Thor actually had time manipulation as a standard power from Mjolnir. He used it around 2-3 times before but gave the power up when Immortus tricked him to releasing the stored time manipulation in Mjolnir out.
Here is classic Thor using it when he had the ability.
King Thor from Reigning and Dissasembled used time manipulation as well and he was just Thor who had Odin force and more experience.
Then there is Odin who has used time manipulation on an occasion or two, so I think it's pretty likely time manipulation is within Thor's capability.
Man this is between STRANGE AND THOR.. Nate powerful as he is, isn't greater then Odin force or the eye or spell defense of strange
Would full potential nate grey not win this?
Full potential nate grey would be white phoenix surely as he clearly has a natural connection to the phoenix force
If not, then doctor strange wins
@newworldorder: so you think Thor wins?
Alright, what is preventing him from stopping time and then doing whatever he wants to Nate and Thor?
Just want to point out that Nate can do the same if he wants.
Stopping time won't work on Nate. He would just do to Strange what Ares did to him (IE: break out of the time lock).
@jedixman: who do you think wins this?
@jedixman: who do you think wins this?
Honestly? I don't know.
@jedixman: lol me either but I'm really getting into Nate Grey

I'm a big X-Man fan.
@jedixman: is it true he's never reached his full potential? And he's the most powerful telepath/telekinetic in the universe?
Interesting fight. Nate has some serious chops man.
I'd like to see more arguments for him before saying anything else.
@jedixman: is it true he's never reached his full potential? And he's the most powerful telepath/telekinetic in the universe?
He's not the most powerful mutant. That goes to Jean Grey, Franklin Richards, possibly Legion, and possibly the Marquis of Death. Nate came close to full potential; it's unfortunate that he got depowered. Reading his older issues and seeing how far he came was very satisfying, although he was powerful in the early days, too (his unrefined, unrestrained self stomped Xavier while Xavier had Cerebro).
@jedixman: Jean is more powerful than Nate?
@jedixman: Jean is more powerful than Nate?
Nate has comparable power to the Phoenix; Jean Grey is the Phoenix. White Phoenix, especially, is far beyond anything Nate could ever dream of. She is multiversal.
@jedixman: would you say Legion is more powerful than her?
@jedixman: would you say Legion is more powerful than her?
No.
@jedixman: wow that's somewhat surprising. Legion is an absolute beast and I'm getting into him as well
