Poll Oblivion (Marvel) vs Molecule Man (Marvel) (40 votes)

- who would win?
I'm genuinely curious what feats for those that chose Oblivion that they feel is greater than these:
Unless we actually see oblivion do something more than making Thor Annual events happen, then Molecule Man.
Remember Oblivion wank? That was fun. Owen still farts it out through by simple cosmological superiority.
I don't know if it counts but Oblivion was able to know of the existence of the readers and knows Hes in a comic book, and he was told to be making plans in the dark when we close our books.
I feel as if MM wins now but Oblivion wins in the future.
Marvel finally dipping its toes into Meta Fictional Stuff?
Again all state lments by Oblivion with no feats to back it up. Owen has continuously provided feats that he is second to only TOAA
lol at owen being second only to TOAA when its iffy the beyonder is above him, nightmare (unquantifiable as of now but good feats), and the "narratively" implied fulcrum being the actual second.
Wow, old thread.
I could be wrong, but I don’t see why Owen would be capable of destroying a concept. Like, controlling all molecules in the multiverse is one thing. It’s physical matter composed of particles he manipulates. How exactly does that translate into the living embodiment of nothingness? Is nothingness composed of something?
Is Oblivion not an abstract like Eternity and just a representative of his namesake like Hela is to Death and so on? I mean, it feels like asking for the cosmic entity Death or feats.

MM Fans really got no answer other than "B-but pre-retcon beyonder!"
Oblivion has no feats but statements that can come close to Molecule Man. His only actual feats are stalemating Infinity and as being a sibling (aka equal) to Death and Eternity.
Molecule Man on the other hand:
1) Is listed on panel as being the second more powerful being in all of existence ( Oblivion included) , second to only PRB.
2) was **BEGGED**** by Death Eternity The Living Tribunal, The Watcher and the rest of Marvel top hierarchy to face Beyonder because they were all too scared to. Take in mind these are Oblivions peers.
3) On a different panel quoted again as the most powerful of Marvel's top hierarchy.
4) With a flip of his finger causally repairs multiveral damage by PRB
5) Created blasts that can destroy billions of dimensions
6) Held an Omniverse in a box like a toy.
7) Absorbed the entire Beyonders race powers into his own.
8) Need I say more? 🙂
@jayblack: beyonders arent even impressive no more.
@quandaledingle
That is a different character, not Oblivion.
What about all the points I presented?
those don't really matter to me since owen still has no feats of killing vague stuff like nothing. (though...you can argue PR Beyonder could)
and i only addressed the Beyonder stuff with nightmare because i find it odd you would call that impressive (when in later issues owen was shot and killed if im remembering correctly)
@quandaledingle: Where is that panel from? Interesting considering Nightmare was stomped by Chaos King.
@quandaledingle The feats I listed by Owen are not impressive? Then you and I have different definitions for that word.
You are mentioning when Griever killed a depleted and distracted Molecule Man. PIS and CIS exists for all characters. I am comparing Owens best feats and Oblivions best feats and from there make a determination on who would win. From feats it's not even close on who would win.

ill have to ask my friend, but its some dr strange stuff.
lol, so Chaos King < Beyonders? which means oblivion is stronger than LT and the beyonders aswell?

Lol, owen got crazy anti feats nowadays.
like being defeated by the sentry.
@quandaledingle: I would just like Oblivion true place in the current Marvel Cosmos hierarchy. The most recent appearance of Oblivion was grouped together with the other abstracts in the current Iron Man run.
@quandaledingle
Oblivion lost to Iceman. Sentry > Iceman
PIS and CIS exists for all characters. Owen has more impressive feats that Oblivion.
scan for oblivion losing to iceman?
@jayblack: mobile through imgur, pc just press image.

I guess so, they got to atleast keep up with DC and their meta stuff.
In, Earth 616 as it has stated that "Oblivion is Outer Void". Oblivion already exist before creation & authors. When, TF Oblivion exist, then we will cease to exist. The, one we see in comics is, he mostly using "M-Bodies" to interact with characters. It's a simple argument & don't need to complicate, unless, there's any update, about Oblivion we will see.
For, now TF Oblivion > MM.
