Obito stomps...Sorry, Itachi fans...Obito was just an on a whole other level than Itachi.

Sure Itachi was Dangerous, but he was obito's underling for a reason.

Itachi beating base Sharingan Sasuke doesn't prove that Itachi was anything close to Obito; War Arc MS Kakashi would low diff that same Sasuke, Obito before he gained Rinnegan, would 0 diffs that Sasuke and laugh at all his attempts to hit him.

BM naruto would casually blitz that Sasuke and one shot, pretty much everyone Obito was fighting would either 1 shot or 0 diffs Base Sharingan Sasuke that Itachi fought. It doesn't matter how laid back Itachi was when he beat that Sasuke who is fodder tier to even pain war and kage summit arc versions.

Obito wins he's a good deal faster.

Obito fought BM Naruto (already better than Itachi), 7th gate Guy, and Kakashi at the same time. Also Naruto trough 1 punch at Itachi and not a single Jutsu the dude wasn't trying.

Even when itachi wanted to die we saw the massive gap in skill between itachi and sasuke we did not see that with obito and kakashi

I did Itachi not being sick doesn't mean he magically gets better stamina or durability the dude has no feats outside of Genjutsu. He couldn't even beat a jobbing KCM while Obito fought BM going all out.

@mister_stark: This isn't dying Itachi. This is healthy Itachi. So he isn't frail and slow. Not sure why you think he is slow. Kakashi even said that he couldn't see Itachi weave a hand sign during their battle.

Yea that was the whole point of the fight for Itachi to die by Sasukes hand so Sasuke avenge’s the clan and will be seen as a hero of the leaf.

@mister_stark: understand portrayal. Kakashi has never fought Itachi one on one. Why because Itachi is way above kakashi and its been portrayed like that since the beginning. Their first fight Itachi brought kakashi to school casually, he toyed with kakashi in beginning of ship, and he clashed with SM kabuto.

@mister_stark: the point of weaving hand signs was to show just how fast Itachi is. No one in the series has shown that kind of speed. This is a taijutsu battle with no MS abilities. Itachi has shown better feats than Obito has.

Obito. OP missed banning out Hashiramas Wood release. I mean current Obito had that when he was fighting Kakashi and Minato. It might be a massive edge on Obitos part.

Kakashi looked into Itachi's eyes on purpose Itachi didn't do anything. Now post taijutsu feats from Itachi that are on Kakashi level.

@mister_stark: Haku still wasn't on Itachi's level. And you make it sound like Kabuto was a pushover. Itachi made use of his immortality to set up Izanami. Remember he didn't want to kill him. Otherwise he would have just used Totsuka blade.

Without intangibility, Obito won't stand a chance. It was even heavily implied that he feared him.

@mister_stark: What feats are you asking for exactly? That's like asking me to provide feats to show how Goku is better than Yamcha. Outside of Kamui and being a Jinchuuriki, Obito has poor feats to show. His wood style abilities are impressive but he rarely used it ever since the Mist Ninja fight. He relies so much on Kamui that his basic skills are practically generic.

Itachi near death prevailed over Sasuke and then died willingly. Obito told Sasuke that if Itachi really wanted him dead then he would be. Not like it matters because every bit of this is irrelevant.

Itachi with standard sharingan has shown to be a prodigy among the clan. Obito in his youth was known as a sorry excuse of an Uchiha. That in itself should show you who is better. Sure Obito has improved over the years but arguably Kakashi is even better as a sharingan user than Obito is. I just don't see how Obito can put down a full health Itachi with just Taijutsu and fireballs.

Edit: What makes you think Itachi couldn't kill Kabuto? What's with this lowballing? Once again, Totsuka blade ends the game. Hell he was convinced that Sasuke was capable of killing Kabuto since he had to warn him to not do it.

Itachi was faster than only pre-shippuden Kakashi. There is not a single portrayal in Shippuden to suggest that Kakashi is slower than Itachi. In fact, Sasuke was matching Itachi in speed while Kakashi was going to fight (kinda was matching him) against a way stronger Sasuke with MS. Not to mention, Kakashi was able to counter Itachi (30 percent clone) cause the info of their previous battle.

Post Shippuden Kakashi> Pre shippuden Kakashi.
So using Kakashi to scale Itachi is pointless.

Itachi's best feat that you can give him in his healthy state is him matching a jobbing KCM Naruto in speed, also fighting and defeating (with help of others) a Nagato who was reacting and beating both KCM Naruto and Killer Bee in his V2 state at the same time.

While Obito's feats are fighting, reacting and overwhelming Kakashi, Guy, KCM 1 Naruto and Killer Bee at the same time. Then proceeding to fight KCM2 Naruto and Kakashi.

Also his 1-1 fight against Kakashi was him wanting to lose that fight from the beginning. The anime stretched the battle a lot but in the manga the battle was over very quickly.

People are also forgetting that this Obito also fought against Minato and was giving him trouble.

So considering the feats, Obito is faster than Itachi and he is physically stronger too. Obito also has the experience. Therefore Obito takes it.

Itachi makes a quick work of him, older, more experienced, way better achievements as a kid/teenager and those more skilled and was superior to Kakashi who is more or less equal to Obito.

Uchiha are typically born with better fighting stats than most other clans. Obito was below average even among ninja outside of the Uchiha. He was basically a bad egg.

Itachi is younger and less experienced, he has less accolades than Kakashi who can't match Obito. And he has no hand to hand feats.

Why is everyone wanking Itachi? Dudes best feats are facing fodder BoS Kakashi, 3 Tome Sasuke, and KCM Naruto who punched once.

Sure he fought Kabuto but he was at a level he'll never be at again.

@mister_stark: You're downplaying Itachi immensely. In the manga, Itachi grabbing KCM Naruto and forcing him to block actually made Naruto grunt in pain. In fact, you could argue that Itachi would have had the drop on Naruto if Nagato hadn't warned him that he was flying at him from above. He then sparred with Naruto a bit and then casually dodged an ambush from Killer Bee. Later on, Killer Bee kept trying to fight him and couldn't touch the guy at all. The same Killer Bee who stomped Sasuke in taijutsu/sword fighting. As for Kakashi, you realize that Kakashi admitted that Itachi's hand movements/seals were too fast for him to keep up with with his sharingan, right? Also, I would hardly even call what Obito did against Naruto and Guy "reacting" to them. He would just spam phasing for the most part.

I liked how you used Bee to help your case but failed to mention he wasn't going all out (against MS Sasuke stronger than MS Itachi aside from Genjutsu he was blitzing with V2 he didn't do that against Itachi) In fact the moment he got serious the first thing he used was a TBB which would kill Itachi instantly.

@mister_stark: Also, at the beginning of Shippuden, Kakashi couldn't do anything to a version of Itachi that was not only messing with Naruto via genjutsu at the same time as fighting him, but that same version of Itachi only had a fraction of his true power. 30% IIRC.

Obito sees them coming and isn't fast enough to dodge them with his own movement or speed so he just stands there and phases. Just like Itachi reacting to Kirin is perception speed. He stood there and couldn't dodge it so instead he activated Susano'o instantly.

Oh please. As if Kakashi magically transformed in between the time skip. What a silly argument. Was he training too and massively improved his speed? Not that it even matters as Kakashi couldn't do shit even after the time skip to a 30% distracted clone of Itachi.

Lmao he "wasn't going all out" is such a bad argument. Killer Bee was intentionally missing him? Bee was intentionally failing to tag him? Was he intentionally slowing himself down? Did he intentionally allow himself to get caught under genjutsu? Did he intentionally fail to pay attention and get blitzed from behind (at which point Itachi needed to warn him that he was behind him)? Did he intentionally look into Itachi's eyes? When he was spinning around and doing the 8 sword dance with Itachi and he was creating blur motion/afterimages was he actually going at 10% of his normal speed? Was he just trying to scare him? This is such a lazy argument.

Here is a forum similar to this one. You'll see scans such as Obito admitting that if Itachi knew about his secrets then he would be dead. That is enough proof that Itachi would best him in combat. Obito was tagged by fodder like Fu and Torune which resulted in him having to sever his own arm.

Also, his regeneration isn't all that impressive if he can't heal from fatal wounds. Being too fast, too durable, too strong is your own opinion. Funny how you keep yelling for feats yet you haven't presented any of your own.
