How far does Obito make it?
How far does Obito make it?
Stops at 4. He can't put Red Hulk down at all, even with Rinnegan hax and the Gedo Mazou.
@fullmetalemprah: Soul Ripping?
It may work on him. Rulk and Carol aren't the smartest combatants so his intangibility would throw them off a good deal.
@requiemcross: Both techniques offer only temporary protection and his enemies can keep the pressure on constantly, whilst he really lacks the chance to defeat most if not all fighters in the gauntlet
@atomickitten15: It's possible but Naruto during his fight with Nagato has shown that you can resist it if you're strong enough. So I just assumed it wouldn't work on him. And yeah that's why I have him going past Carol but if Tony can't stop Red Hulk for long I really don't see Obito doing so either. And Kamui only lasts five minutes iirc.

How do they keep the pressure when all of their techniques will simply pass through? All he have to do is grab them and warp them to his own dimension. this version of Obito also possess six edo jinchuruki as his own six paths body.
@requiemcross: Quite easy sctually they just have to continue attacking. He isn't non-stop intangible and grabbing them would be lethal itself

And Obito won't simply stand there until he get tired of their continues attack. you also forget his izanagi that he could use to prevent a fatal injury or even revive himself in case they succeeded on killing him.

And neither Marvel character would wait for him either + Izanagi is a one time only save, afterwards he is actually more handicapped by missing an eye

he got healed after each round. So how will they stop him without them being grabbed first? You should also consider the six edo jinchuruki that he controlled that has a rinnegan and sharingan.

By having the range advantage? 50% of the gauntlet can fly (if you count each FF 4 member individually) and his first enemy is already someone who never fights close, Storms whole ability is to stay hundreds of meters in the air and pelt her enemy with everything she deems necessary.

Yes, range advantage wont help them against Obito. He could simply sit there waiting while his six paths kill them.
I love the idea that Izanagi is going to be such an important factor here. It's not going to be like with Konan where she surprises him with a one-time attack and fluke to win. Odds are, if anybody in the gauntlet succeeds, they will easily be able to replicate it again and him respawning as a surprise won't make his chances any higher.
