I don't think it was stated but it seems like the hand get stronger when they come back from death. Bakuto after his death walked through bullets, and Nobu sent Matt flying really far.
@rbt: @jashro44: That seems a bit vague, it could be that he was always meant to be that impressive but he was holding back, similar to CW Slade? Also I never knew how to evaluated Bakuto walking through Mistys bullets TBH.
@thekinfing: I don't think that is peak human strength by the standards of the MCU. It also didn't look like Matt could knock him out and we also saw Nobu wake up quickly from huge falls. Stick also said the only way to kill Nobu in season 2 was to cut his head off but Matt killed him in season 1.

Plus Harold Meecham punched a (small) hole into his punching bag after his revival.
@dstreet45: I completely forgot about that, that should prove that the Hand reanimateds are above Peak-Humans, but since Nobu was revived multiples times would he gain a boost everytime or just the first one? @jashro44@rbt.
@thekinfing: I don't know if Nobu was alive multiple times. I think there is a difference between being revived and being immortal. I recall Bakuto getting incapped with a sword to his leg by Colleen, but than he walked through bullets like nothing. So I assume Nobu was only peak human in season one. And none of the hands other than the ones we've seen die and come back are super human IMO.
I don't know what to say for Nobu. In the last couple episodes he went from being stomped by Matt, to fighting Matt and Elektra simultaneously, to being stomped by Matt again.
I do think he seems really really skilled and is probably physically superior to Ward if we assume he's stronger than Matt is. I might still back him but it's hard to say.
Because he's the most inconsistent character in the MCU no contest.
He's only ever faught Daredevil, and he goes from stomping him, to getting stomped, to fighting both him and Elektra, to getting stomped again, in the span of 3 episodes or something. It's ridiculous to me that people attempt to actually rank him with such confidence.
The Nobu that stomped Daredevil twice and beat Matt/Elektra together wins. The Nobu that got stomped twice by Daredevil probably loses. Very inconsistent fighter, unfortunately.
