Jason curbstomps with a prep.....Its clearly visible that the creator of this thread was a Red Hood fan xD!

Simple, Red Hood. Why? Cuz Dick Grayson isnt batman, and Batman is the best at besting Red Hood. Red Hood's blood lust is only tamed by Batman. Plus Red Hood's like batman, the prep, but with blood lust. Hes a dangerous man, hell do whatever it takes to snuff out Dick. He could potentially beat Dick Grayson without prep, but if they both improv battle with no resources I think Jason could do it cuz of his blood lust instinct. Dick also imo has less experience than Jason does.

I am choosing Red Hood because if it was at all realistic Red hood could just shoot nightwing before he can get close to use hand to hand combat which nightwing is more skilled at

I don't understand why folks are acting like Dick has never encountered a lethal hostage situation before. Jason is bloodlusted half the time, yet has never convincingly beaten Dick in a fair fight. Bloodlusted Dick though.... should get him good.

I'm not a NW expert, but didn't batman teach him recon and stuff too? So I'm kinda finding it hard to believe he would be completely blind to Jason's plans....especially if he's sweeping through the city ruthlessly.

And one more thing:Jason telling NW he could kill him.... that just feels like a basic character trait. Jason is aggressive and hateful (especially towards NW)... While NW is more cautious and bit less venomous. He could probably kill Jason too if he absolutely needed to. But he doesn't mouth it off like Jason. The bloodlusted cancels out that difference in attitude.

Sorry if any of this felt redundant, I just felt like saying it.

Jason is not bloodlusted 1/2 the time, lol. Ruthless=/=bloodlusted.

Bloodlusted for Red Hood would be telling Dick there's several children strapped to time bombs scattered around the docks and he only has 5 minutes to find and free them all, then blows the docks up once Dick arrives at the 1st child's location. A bloodlusted Red Hood would essentially be the most effective villian Dick has ever faced because he's efficient and smart.

Anyone want to explain why current Red Hood would win? I havent read anything recently about either, but a few years ago Dick definitely had this.

@thegrayson: Currently, Red Hood could win via gear. H2H and physically he's still not on Dick's level.

But I say with gear he should win because of how he one shot Batman and an Amazonian with the taser on his chest-insignia.

I think Dickwing can handle Red Hood unless hes gotten some upgrade lately.

@buttersdaman000: yeah but that was a while ago and Jason has outsmarted Batman or beaten him several times what could Nightwing do plus what other times has Nightwing ever beaten Jason other than that.

As a knowledgable fan of Nightwing, I say Red Hood still wins this match.

Nightwing 10/10 if this is Post Crisis Nightwing VS Post Crisis Red Hood. Nightwing is faster and had better feats BUT If it's New 52 versions of them I would give it to Red Hood. Because he is a lot more solid and versatile than his previous incarnations. Even though Nightwing is a better fighter Red Hood would have no problem going in for the kill where Nightwing would hesitate.

its funny how on the first page everyone is saying Nightwing, but now everyone is saying Red Hood, oh how time changes things.

From what i know, Jason has better prep feats, Nightwing is 100x a better fighter though.

well don't get me wrong Jason can beat dick with prep but dick is smart so he has the advantage and reflex to survive jasons attack plus if theres close range dick is a lot better in h2h and has more gadgets

Jason Todd did beat Lady Shiva and lady shiva would beat nightwing. I'm leaning towards Jason since he would fight to the death, unlike Nightwing. Dick is a better fighter but Jason is more brutal and would not hold back. This fight is between two master level trained martial artist but one is freakin strapped like a army soldier. Jason wins. He not only is on Dick's level of fighting but he has a shit Ton of guns in his Arsenal while Dick does not use guns. A distraught Batman barely beat him.

Honestly Jason could've been a serious threat if he had not been killed. He received training from Batman to become Robin and after his death received training from Lady Shiva. He was only going to get stronger as his Rage was growing.

I'd say current Red Hood takes this. He's ruthless and he's cunning (and yes he'll cheat if necessary but it still gives him the dub).

Two of even coolest batman characters, but Dick wins even if Jason goes ham with the guns bc Dick is too fast, Both very equal skill tho I would say. Both raw talent, Dick agile, Jason aggressive but nightwing wins.

Nightwing is jut superior to Jason and the comics have always supported this.

Red Hood can consolidate as much angst and rage as he wants he's still that one robin that failed and got brutally assaulted by the Joker.

red hood is clearly better as he was tired after fighting tim drake from the battle for the cowl.In addition i felt he has gone less ruthless however he has gained even more skill.If this just after he got resurrected he would definitely showed no mercy.Not saying he wont kill him now if it came to a one on fight he will .But before he would of killed in anybody for what he wants (under the red hood arc).In addition to back jason todd is that in under the red hood he escaped batman and nightwing and gave dick a broken leg.And batman was better than dick at the time.However if it was no weapons just hand to hand combat dick is clearly better than jason todd. Its just the fact he is still super good at hand to hand combat and will use guns to kill dick grayson. Final reason is that red hood will use his prep time to get hostages and will propebly put a time which will defientily hurt him if he does survive jason will shoot him as dick always put people before himself that why he will lose. And todd will use that to his advantage. In other ways of saying it red hood will kill , nightwing will put people first that's why he will lose that battle. But nightwing would beat red hood on a one one fight even thought it will be close.

Jason would win. Еveryone thinks Nightwing is stronger for Jason because he defeated him in the "Battle for the Cowl", but Jason has more victories. He defeated Dick in the Battle of Nightwings, in "Outsiders" # 44, in "Batman and Robin" Dick knocked Jason down but he shot him in the chest with a pistol and knocked out and this is not all of his victories. What's more, in " The New 52!" and "Rebirth" Jason calls weapon from hell "All-Blade", he has a huge arsenal of weapons and he defeats almost all of his enemies, he also defeated Artemis which is equal to Wonder Woman and defeated Batman 4 times w

hile he defeated him only once and then attacking him like a rat from the back. So Jason is stronger than Dick and can withstand Bizarro 2, and in general he defeated Lady Shiva and Cassandra Kane who defeated him

Edit: when this thread was created I would have gone with Dick in a straight fight while Jason with better prep. Since n52 and beyond I would give this to Jason regardless.

Jason wins here's why. Jason is at Batman level (he's even beat Batman before) While Dick is above Robin level but not at Batman. He's somewhere in between. Jason has traveled the world getting training. His training is arguably better than Bruce's because he not only got training from Batman himself he got more. Then he uses lethal gear, unlike Dick who isn't going to kill anyone. Jason also has enhanced healing and physical abilities. The only reason Dick beat him in that fight is because they needed Dick to take back Batman's name and they couldn't let Jason keep it. Jason's even beat Ra's al Ghul in a sword fight. It's definitely not easy but in the end he wins.

Dick is just overall better.

Just because Jason is willing to kill and is more aggressive, doesn't mean he has a higher chance of winning. And knowing "lethal martial arts or death-dealing techniques" does not make you a better fighter. Look at Batman and DD they use non-lethal techniques and have proven that they can still be brutal and incapacitating.

Dick once had a prolonged fight with Bruce in the Bat-cave Nightwing (2011) #30. Bruce was testing to see if his "will" was broken or not. This means he was holding back and not going 100% as if that were the case, Dick would lose. So I guess in a sense both have kind of beaten him. But as we know, Batman on his best day takes both down.

Nightwing did beat a prepared Jason Todd in the Battle for the Cowl. So prep isn't doing much really.

I will admit Jason recently got a down grade where his only weapon is a crowbar. But ignoring the Red Hood that stands zero chance. The best way to put Red Hood is the Batman who kills. He is at Batman level he's done stuff Batman can't. Jason will beat Dick, for several reasons. He's faster to go all out and he's a better fighter.

The Red Hood with All Blades would win imo. I don’t know what Jason is about currently.

I can't buy that Red Hood is Batman's level. Is Red Hood listed as top 10 skilled fighters? Nightwing beat Red Hood before and can do it again.

Aren't the All-Blades designed to only kill magic-based threats?
