New Gods (DC) vs Earthly Gods (Marvel and DC)

Here's the idea:

So the various New Gods are obviously very powerful but I feel they don't get enough respect. In the DC Universe humans being are weaker than nearly every other alien race out there. These humans have their gods. So how powerful are the gods of the aliens? The new gods include gods from both of Apokolips and New Genesis. In the Marvel Universe the strongest gods are those that have been exposed to humans. Gods such as Odin, Zeus, Thor, Hercules (warrior-demigod), ... etc.

For this battle we're looking at an all out war between the New Gods of DC and all the Earthly Gods( the stronger of each kind from either universes).

New Gods:

- Access to their advanced technology

- No Parademons at their disposal or any basic New Genesis fighting unit.

Old Gods:

- Access to their respective divine weaponry. (No Infinity gauntlet or heart of the universe non-sense)

- No basic soldiers or army at their disposal.

- Gods ranging from Norse, Greek, Aboriginal, Egyptian, Roman, Celtic, Japanese, Hindu and any other distinguished earthly deity that has been mentioned in DC or Marvel.

Which side would inevitably win the war?

Why wouldn't Odin solo?

Easy,old Gods would win because they control and manipulate there element/power so all there tech won't do anything.This will be a utter stomp

@goldchamp101: I assume because if the New Gods as a whole are in this battle that means Infinity Man would be a factor.

The New gods by lore at there strongest are suppose to be far stronger than Earth based gods in DC.

In the DC setting the gods of a planet get there power from the belief of people on there singular planet. Ares was becoming stronger than Zeus because people focused more on war than on there fading fear of the weather.

The New Gods on the other hand are that on an existential level. Ares is the god of war representing Earth alone, Orion would be the god of war for existence.

Ares around that time had access to the Godwave he solos and then turns on his teammates.

@solarbear: Their technology is far advanced and the Old Gods are not familiar with it. Its not just basic machinery its far advanced I believe. The Earthly Gods most likely would have to take them head on.

@supermanforever: Its the most powerful version of each character, but Odin also gets his most powerful form, same with Thor, Ares, Hercules! ...etc. Plus Rama Kushna and God Wave from DC, a lot factors to consider.

Marvel pantheons stomp

New gods

Earthly Gods stomp, and they stomp badly. Using every earth pantheon in both marvel and DC (especially marvel) is overkill. Marvel alone has 19 or 20 pantheons.

New ones

Marvel's Egyptian Pantheon is stacked with multiple gods that are Odin level and higher. lol

Anyways, I'd say Post Crisis Cronus wins. He'll let everyone duke it out while he harvests the energy, then he'll just start eating the winners.
