Well, tbh, WW only has fighting skill and weaponry to make up for her slightly weaker strength, durability, and speed.. but fighting skill can only go so far.. and Superman isn't entirely incompetent in fighting lol, of course no where Diana's skill, but in the end she's not that good, but still better than Supes.

As for the Apollo thing, if you guys are referring to Apollo slapping Superman away in SM/WW, that doesn't really tell much considering how we don't know how strong Apollo was and on top of that Superman was only slapped away, only to come back fighting. And he even punched Apollo back too.. sending Apollo "flying" as well. Yet he still came back up before unknowingly amping him.. If you're talking about Apollo slapping Supes away:

We know that WW's in his strength class, but I've seen better strength, durability and damage output feats for Supes so I give him the majority. Not saying WW won't win a round here and there, and will put up a fight, Supes'll take the majority, as usual.

I think superman wins but Wonder Woman could easily put up a good fight.

She also held her own against wraith and wasn't even defeated by the time superman came. She was still charging at him.

Is everyone forgetting that N52 Wonder Woman manhandled TWO fully grown Krypos when even superman couldn't. And It's not like she was evading either she was fighting on equal footing with them. Given this feat and new 52 Supes lack of fighting skill and experience I think I have to give this one to Diana. Plus her sword can cut him and when she takes those bracelets off it's all over.

WW does not stand a single chance against valid high tiers like Supes, Odinson and Hulk.

IDK what New 52 is because I don't read garbage modern stuff but Wonder Woman will never be nearly as powerful as Superman.

@whathappened: outlier circumstance. Superman barley survived that nuke too. This is a straight forward fight. Diana has clearly shown the ability to move faster than supes which means she could avoid a nuke. the situation forced them to cut the atom in a straight up fight that wouldn't happen and Diana would put the same whopping on supes that she did on Zod and Faora.

Man I really hate hearing this nonsense. Wonder Woman, a member of the fucking holy trinity, one of the og's of comic book characters, and one of the strongest and most dangerous people in all the DC Universes Isn't High Tier Enough? and then on top of it you don't even say why. just come to any thread where WW fight a high tier just to leave a one line comment and leave without defending it. Both Odinson and Supes are tough fights but If you actually look at her feats there's nothing that says she can't win those fights, being the strongest child of Zeus and fast enough to keep up with speedster constantly.

If you read new 52 Wonder Woman which I find extremely funny since Orion was a chad and a prick you’d know the gauntlets stop her using full power (copied shadow the hedgehog)

At full power she can go toe to toe with Firstborn who is stronger then Orion

Superman literally couldnt hurt Orion in the first time they fought and in rebirth Orion destroyed a star system just from his fist colliding with the nth metal golem

It’s worthnoting Orion in the WW got the Vegeta/Shadow treatment were he loses for plot so the main characters victory is more meaningful

But keep in mind I haven’t read New 52 Superman, Superman has fought people stronger then him like Wraith but I wouldn’t say he is firstborn level So maybe he has villains that place him at that level

But even wraith was defeated by using the earths electromangnetic field to neutralise wraiths powers and kill him by strangling him with his cape something that won’t work on Wonder Woman

Long story short WW should be faster and stronger then Superman since she beat a guy that beat Orion when she removed her gauntlets and her sword can cut through atoms

At bare minimum they are at the same level of strength since in Superman/Wonder Woman new 52 WW and Supes lost to Faora and Zod but WW wasn’t using her full power

The reason she can’t use it is it has a risk of her going insane Orion may be strong enough to endure that, also Orion when he uses full power and gives into rage turns red as his skin becomes rocky like his father Darkseid so he really has nothing to fear of full power Wonder Woman

But like I said I know nothing about what has happened in new 52 Superman but from my understanding she should win

In rebirth she even goes toe to toe with grail who literally solos the justice league make no mistake she didn’t win Hell no, but she didn’t lose either every fight was inconclusive but grail was slapping her around but it’s still more impressive then anyone else vs grail

She can also summon swords, shields and lightning from Zeus

If you’ve read New 52 Supes we can compare feats if you want but the way I see it if Wonder Woman takes of the bracelets superman is collateral damage

This may not be the strict battleboarding way to view things, but regardless of feats or comparative showings against individual villains, DC has always portrayed WW and Superman as being more or less equals in power. Batman was always telling Superman in Injustice that he needed to take combat training more seriously, because if Wonder Woman ever went rogue he would be their only chance at stopping her, but she has better combat skills.

It is what it is. The real answer to this question depends on who is writing the story and why they want that person to win. As far as DC is concerned they're pretty much equals.

Unless it's Post Crisis, where Clark unleashed beat the crap outta her at her best, lol. Wondie's got too many low showings to take her seriously anymore.
