They have pretty much the same striking power and durability, but Thor has lightning too, something that N-52 Superman is vulnerable to.

@jay_z94: the axe would be much more dangerous than the lightning especially in close quarters... and he can even combine them technically like use lightning to stun him then chop with the axe. though with morals off and speed equalized thors lightning itself is too much for him.

even if you consider superman to be stronger, much stronger, he no longer has a counter for the lightning or a way to dodge the axe... if he tried using that strength to grapple with or strike thor he would lose an arm in the process

Lifting strength is going to help in this fight how? You saw what happened to Gor and Hercules when they tried to grapple Thor right?

eh if his lifting strength is higher he would punch harder though as you mentioned the lightning and with speed equalized the punches would be blocked (and chopped) with the axe

I’m leaning towards whoever actually wants to win they basically have the same feats except laser vision unless you count lightning beams but if Thor goes crazy and bloodlusted he might make mistakes while if Superman goes crazy and bloodlusted he might make mistakes as well it depends on who retains their knowledge because there feats are on par but knowledge I would say Thor missed a few years in elementary school lol
