Thing wins in a good fight
inb4 salty commen- oh wait, people are already salty
Honestly Thing can win this, the problem is i am not sure he is willing to go all out and basically sacrifice his arm to achieve that win.
It basically comes down to that.
Superman stomps
He outclasses Thing in everything.
Superman>Thing> IH>> Lol Thor a joke
He doesn't really, he can't take a beating like Thing and Things best punch would lay out Superman.
@emperorb777: could you please explain that logic behind your scaling?
@aversionofthee: Superman best punch shook the entire planet and the shock waves could be felt on the watchtower, that would kill Thing.
Then there's the fact that Superman has Flash tier speed, there's no way in hell Thing could even hit Superman unless he allowed it.
@emperorb777: Hulks punches have literally done the same and they werent even his best punches, on top of that Thing already tanked a blast from Galactus that was also powerful enough to cleave the mantle of Earth.
@hellespont: Cause Thing got feats that put him in some regards even above Superman, mainly one-shotting Immortal Hulk while also taking a beating from him for more than an hour.
@hellespont: Thing just one shot Hulk.

They're out of order lmao! I can see why people don't really take you seriously
@bubblegumman: I don't know why I should take you seriously either after that random creepy PM you sent me. You're probably an alt anyway.
@darkhoudini: @aversionofthee: Is that a specific version of Thing or just normal thing? Also if they fought for an hour how is it considered a one shot? If it’s just normal thing, why are we taking that as his new power-level rather than realizing that it’s an extreme outlier?

It's a meme.
@hellespont: It's normal Thing. Because Thing wasn't really doing much to Hulk before than, he put everything he had in his last strongest punch. Cause Thing has been actually operating on similar levels for a very long time now, it's just in more recent times that he has gotten more confirmations over it.
@takenstew22: you have no clue to why the thing wins you just say it randomly

Good fight, but I'd edge towards Clark. Ben is a very tough cookie.
Don't you think DCEU Clark beats Thing in a not good fight
@takenstew22: you have no clue to why the thing wins you just say it randomly
Again, it's a meme. Get over it bud.
Ben puts everything in his punch and one shot-kill Superman at MFTL speeds.
Oh hey, you're back.
@jko1: yup. Some people never learn.
@takenstew22: It's good to be back.
Good fight, but I'd edge towards Clark. Ben is a very tough cookie.
Never thought there'd be a day when I agree with TonyMartial's opinion regarding Thing.
Then again, I also never thought that Ben would one-shot Immortal Hulk one day. But here we are.
@aversionofthee: I would challenge you to prove Thing has been consistently operating on one-shotting Hulk levels for “a while now”.
@takenstew22: Not everyone is kidding tho.......
@hellespont: By that i mean him hanging around Hulks level comfortably, he one-shot Hulk because he didn't hold back anything in his punch destroying his arm in the process, in fact he says it's his strongest punch ever, so you wont find many feats of him doing something like that all the time in comics. Although he did KO Surfer and Thor in the past too.
@aversionofthee: Oh okay, claiming Thing can consistently hang with Hulk, I can agree with. I thought the claim was that Thing has been consistent at one-shotting Hulk tier beings. Thanks for clarifying,
In that case, I see no reason why Superman doesn’t take this convincingly.
@hellespont: He can consistently one-shot Hulk tier beings if he does that same punch which was my point ultimately. And if he uses it here, he would one-shot Superman too tbh. Because he can take a beating from IH for more than an hour without going down.
@aversionofthee: Idk if it’s fair to claim he could consistently pull off what is referred to as the best punch of Thing’s career.... that’s almost by definition not consistent.
Especially when you factor in this fight is in character, Ben doesn’t know Superman, Superman could likely evade a haymaker whereas Hulk couldn’t, etc. etc.
@aversionofthee: I would challenge you to prove Thing has been consistently operating on one-shotting Hulk levels for “a while now”.
He wasn't even showing it in that fight, lol. The entire fight both were making comments about Hulk being far above Thing. It's inconsistent PIS at it's finest.

I mean if we go by the rules and take the characters at their best and this was a life and death situation like it was in the comic, then yea i think it's pretty reasonable to assume he is going to throw a punch like that eventually.
Depends really, i still think if Ben hits him with that haymaker he is done for.

Yea because he was holding back, he even says so. And the comments were referring to Hulk being physically stronger than Thing, but the comic itself asked the question of who would actually win in the end and they showed it when Ben won.
@aversionofthee: lol, no. Hulk was toying with Thing for kicks per the opening comments. Thing was getting casually trashed and remained conscious via willpower meme because of Alicia. Both stated Hulk was more powerful and Hulk stated he crushes people a hundred times stronger than Thing.
Then Thing somehow makes this last second mighty blow because of heart and fighting spirit meme. He hit Hulk, Puppet Master's stature broke, and then Hulk dropped. The feedback from breaking Puppet Master's connection could have just as much relevance to Hulk dropping as Thing's blow. It was an odd scene without additional context yet.
Thing was fighting Hulk being influenced by Puppet Master in the first place. I would argue that impacts Hulk's capacity, tbh.
One outlier blow doesn't outweigh and entire fight's worth of inferiority. Not to mention Superman speed blitzes here. GG. The only thing in Ben's favor is the "to the death part" when morals aren't off, which is also odd because neither is prone to killing that stipulation stalemates the match anyway.
