@highaccuser: Not sure. But in Futures End he was owning future Flash pretty badly. He bent space and time at a Quantum level to stop Flash. He also manipulated the molecules of the Speed Force. {essentially matter manipulated the Speed Force}.
I'll tag @killemall because I'm sure he'd like to see this feat.

Damn...based on that and reputation he should win.

Holy Hell that made me moist
Doctor Manhattan wins.
Captain Atom came first.
@frozen: I know. Doctor Manhattan and his quantum abilities were based on the original Captain Atom. They were similar, but hardly the same. With the New 52, Captain Atom is now pretty much a knock-off of his own knock-off (with the benefit of more feats), if that makes sense.
Regardless, I stand by my statement...

Eh... More feats? Or vastly superior feats?
Dr Manhattan wishes he was Atom.
@monsterstomp: His feats are only "vastly superior" because he has the benefit of 1.) Living in a universe with other superpowered beings, in which he can truly demonstrate his abilities, 2.) Having fans who won't b*tch every time DC wants to do something with the character, and 3.) Being part of a comic book universe that will continually allow him to develop his abilities through the perpetual acquirement of new and better feats.
...
Captain Atom wishes he was Manhattan. He wishes he could have been part of what is widely regarded as "the most influential graphic novel of all time." He also wishes he had a blue d*ck that can inspire Internet memes everywhere with a single thought.
:-)
@venomoustaco: Yeah? Well... You're a fanboy!
@monsterstomp: Um... No.
@venomoustaco: Alright, calm down.
@venomoustaco: dr manhattan is vastly overrated he is nowhere near as powerful people make him out to be
@monsterstomp: (proceeds to wipe tears from face, delete spiteful message, and burn suicide note)
I'm calm.
:-)
@venomoustaco: If it's the most influential, why have I never seen a physical copy of Watchmen? I have seen others that I would definitely rank above Watchmen as influential.

Lets hug this mother***ker out :)
@jacthripper: Yeah, well don't take it up with me. That's what the rest of the world says.
Btw, "influential" doesn't mean it's the best or most circulated, it simply suggests that it has inspired many other comic books and characters. It means that it played an important role in making the comic book industry into what it is today.
:-)
@monsterstomp: "Internet hug"

Go to a Comic Book store. You'll see one.
@frozen: nearest one is half an hour away, in Newport News. And my parents won't make the drive for comics, maybe next year.
@comicsrulebutdbzdoes2: I agree, Doctor Manhattan is somewhat overrated. He is not God. He cannot warp reality just cuz. He would not defeat the Spectre (DC, not Silk Spectre, lol).
His powers are based on science, and as such, have certain limits in the realm of comics. Sure he has completely control over matter and the quantum plane (more or less), but he is not omnipotent.
...
That said, he is also underrated. This could be a result of or a direct response to his overzealous fans overrating him, but whatevs.

:O
@venomoustaco: Do you think that Cap Atom is the only one dreaming of this? :o
@realitywarper: Pshh, of course not. The entire superhero community wishes they had Manhattan's wang.

Beast and Nightcrawler doesn't. :(
Lucky guys. ^^
@realitywarper: True...

It is funny because I read that Moore wanted to use Captain Atom but they didn´t let him use any of the DC characters. So he made similar yet different character to those.
@black_arrow: Yep. And honestly, I think it was for the best.
@dorukesin: He also one shotted Mongul, and was going to blow himself up knowing that he could re-create himself, that was going to destroy Mars , a planet bigger than Earth, as well as a planetary shield surrounding the planet. Martian Manhunter had to trick him in order to use telepathy on him.
I was reading the issue going, there is no way they can re-introduce Captain Atom, at such terrifying power level, as a hero, unless every JLA threat is a telepath.

Oooh sh****************************t!
New 52 captain atom vs thanos?
I think that might just even things up a tad. LOL.
@jashro44: Atom has limited feat and at the moment a vulnerability that Thanos can exploit. Majority would pick Thanos anyways, beyond the telepathic vulnerability, they seem rather pretty close. If Atom is kept in the same power level, few appearances and i wouldn't be surprised people pick Atom over Thanos, the dude is extra-ordinary more powerful than all other DC heroes running around atm.

I see. Is Atom having any more appearances soon?
