Benders have lightning re-direction. Also, Natsu cannot fly like they can, so he can't tag them. How does he counter them overloading him?

except natsu's lightning becomes mixed with fire when he's in lightning fire dragon mode, that's not getting re-directed. All he needs to do is do his roar at them. Do you honestly think that any of the benders are going to keep spamming fire attacks at him when they see that he is literally eating their flames?
