Well their both trained with guns, they've had their missions, got their allies and have generally had crazy lives. So my question is, which one would win in a death match? Sure drakes got his mad climbing skills and survival skills but punishers got his weapons training and is a beast at hand to hand combat. Their both super cool but which is going to win in a fight? Lets say they had 4 days preperation and would fight in metropolis.

Punisher. Better weapons, more experience, better training, better fighter, and more brutal.

The prep makes this a stomp in Punisher's favor. If it weren't for that... I could make a case for Drake.

The only thing Drake has over Punisher is youth and that's never helped any of the people Frank has slaughtered over the years.

Drake's survived some pretty insane stuff, like being thrown against a wall by a superhuman who was capable of tanking whole clips of machine gun ammo. It's also arguable that Nathan Drake has the same amount of weapons experience as Punisher, seeing as he can use anything from deagles to miniguns and anti-aircraft turrets, and how he's spent about half of his life dealing with guerrilla forces and criminal organizations. He's also taken out groups of British special agents by himself.

In a prepped encounter though, Drake loses. Frank is too experienced as a tactician to allow Drake to sneak up behind him, unless we're willing to mention Nathan Drake's "luck".

Realistically, Frank's got better endurance, he's faster, stronger, hits harder, has more tactical skill, he's more durable, he's more accurate and generally superior in every way outside of agility.

@comicstooge: Nathan Drake has better durability. He can be hit by grenades near point-blank range and still has the power to hold off to the walls and climb it. In Uncharted 4 he can even take two shotgun blows before dying and still can fight. Nathan Drake might be stronger because he can push a 20 ton rock. He hits harder. He can kill a soldier in Uncharted 4 in just one punch. He can kill the soldiers in Uncharted 4 with just a slight kick. He is also good in accuracy, he can aim the leash rope exactly where it can be putted.

Listen, I love Nathan more than anyone, but there is nothing he can do against Frank.

This really has no reason to get bumped. Frank wins with no effort.

@uzuchiha: Your post is a mix of highballing Nate and underestimating Frank. Drake's durable alright, but his best feats are still casual to Frank. I don't feel like arguing this in-depth or anything, but even if Nate had every single stat advantage-- which he doesn't, far from it-- he'd have no counter to Castle's marksmanship. Feel free to disagree, I'm just giving you my thoughts since you asked.

@elijah_c_washington: Why? Can Frank Castle one shot a soldier or kill it with one punch? Can he tank a grenade near point-blank range and still hang in a wall? Can he tank 2 shotgun blast directly to the body before dying? Sorry to break it, you guys are underestimating Nate. He has a shot to win this.

He's arguably less skilled in hand-to-hand. Uncharted 3 gave Nate feats of laying out a whole pub of thugs right in the beginning. Later on he was attacked by a dozen occult agents at once and beat them all solidly. He defeated the entire pirate crew that had captured him, after he woke up on their ship. And each of these encounters include a seven foot tall genetic freak with superhuman strength, who Nate was always able to knock out. He also defeated many highly trained fighters including Talbot who was a leader in that powerful secret organization, Rafe who Nate beat in a sword fight, Rafe's specialty. And the main villain from the end of the first game had a machine gun on Nate, and Nate cleared the distance, disarmed him, and barely defeated him in hand-to-hand.

Frank stomps under pretty much any conditions.
