I'm here for this. Naruto and Sasuke. Enough physicals to hold their own and bring too much versatility to the table. Naruto alone would be a threat adding Sasuke is just icing.

@jardinain2: Genjutsu is basically Naruto's equivalent of Telepathy. It's mostly restricted to illusions. However the illusions are powerful enough to do serious mental damage and incap people.

yeah if you have TP resistance you should be able to deal with it.

im not entirely sure Genjustu will work on Captain Marvel but thats the only teams hope.

People act like Captain Marvel is featless which is rather inconsiderate to Billys feats. Wally West has complimented Billy on his speed, and Power Girl has admitted that Billy is faster than her. Power Girl is fast enough to fight Wonder Woman evenly.

the guy also went toe to toe with Martian Manhunter. I seriously have never seen such hatred of Billy before, its actually quite sad.

he actually can see through Illusions with the Wisdom of Solomon so im not sure Genjustu is going to work.

I know nothing about Naurto characters, so I can't make a fair assessment on who I think would win.

The sorta-in-depth version: Genjutsu is one of the three main fighting styles in the Naruto series, the other two being Taijutsu (H2H) and Ninjutsu (chakra based techniques that allows the user to do things like manipulate or generate elements, project energy, clone themselves, etc). Genjutsu, as previously stated. Is an offensive or tactical attack that targets the mind. It shares some of the same attributes as classical telepathy such as:

Casting illusions/altering perception:

Controlling/influencing people's actions:

Manipulating/Inducing Emotions and Restricting movement:

These are the most basic types of Genjutsu. It is to be noted that most competent characters in Naruto have a basic type of Genjutsu resistance as evidenced by Sakura and Shikamaru when they were in the Chuunin exams. Therefore it takes much more than a basic resistance feats to prove you aren't susceptible. And thats just for the most basic types of Genjutsu. The more powerful ones are much more potent and can do a whole host of other things that are really uncombatable such as:

Sealing your mind in another dimension

Changing your minds perception of time and space:

Changing imagination into reality:

Trapping you in a time loop:

Entering false events into people's past to manipulate their actions:

Not entirely true it depends on the strength of it. Sakura has resisted Genjutsu and was oneshotted by Sasuke. Kakashi can resist it and was almost killed by Itachi. You have to have some strong TP resistance seeing as certain types have still worked on people with good resistance feats

It's not really high balling when there's not much to contradict it seeing as they haven't had many fights at full power.

Faster, no. But they should be just as fast as him when his speed limit is clearly defined at the level they're on.

Naruto's light fang feat if taken at face value requires nanosecond reaction time and combat speed. And thats without precog

Can you elaborate? I could have sworn I read in one of their crossover comics that Shazam was his equal.

The magic only gives Billy a slight advantage in hand to hand, it doesn't do anything for durability, grappling strength or speed. Also Loeb was the only one who wrote magic as being an active advantage for Billy and as you've pointed out, he's a sketchy writer. The only other time it's been shown to work like that was when Black Adam was hitting Prime in Infinite Crisis, but in that case lightning was actually drawn around Adam's fists.

Wonder Woman doesn't the raw stats to compete with Superman other than speed, even then she did fairly well given the circumstances. Black Adam and Billy have been historically even during most of their fights, Billy actually had the upper hand when they fought in Black Reign. I believe his fight with Superman and Captain Marvel at once was pre-crisis.

Losing to a character doesn't mean you're on a lower level than them. All fights have to have conclusions regardless.

Reaction speed and Combat speed are two different things. If we take the light fang statement at face value then Naruto would have light speed reactions. It doesn't necessarily mean he can fight at light speeds. Superman has a 2 or 3 examples of combat speed feats that suggest he can fight at FTL speeds as well as several feats to show he has FTL reaction time.

Billy has admitted himself that he doesn't compete with Superman. I mean he had to land a lucky sucker punch just to KO him in Morrison's JLA.

He also blitzed Madara who reacted to Guy, and is confirmed faster than Guy himself, and Guy was bending space with his speed, so yes he does have luminal combat speed.

Billy has no answer to all of the hax and varying abilities the Narutoverse has to offer. Not to mention both combatants are more skilled than he is. Billy gets his ass handed to him.
