@alphamon: According to his page on this site, he's fought Blue Marvel and lost to Photon and Jack of Hearts. Just based off that I'm inclined to say a non-jobbing Thor solos.

@alphamon: I was thinking much the same thing. Could be something we're missing though. I'm open to seeing Pagan's feats in detail.

The issue with Pagan is that his power mechanics weren't exactly elaborated on. Both him and Lord Templar were projections of Jonathan Tremont, who was using them to make Avengers look bad - by making Pagan beat the piss out of Avengers, but then have Templar wreck Pagan despite Templar having a tougher time against Avengers - and it wasn't exactly explained if their power levels could be manually adjusted by Tremont or if he simply had them act (probably the latter).

Pagan also could absorb energy of attacks landed on him, both the physical hits and blasts, to grow bigger and stronger, but even after Scarlet Witch drained the energies he absorbed, he still was strong enough to beat the shit out of Thor. And in the fight where he was defeated by Photon and Jack of Hearts, he wasn't exactly taken down with brute force - he was taking on Jack of Hearts, Carol Danvers and Vision at the same time and shrugging off their attacks until Photon flew through him, possibly disrupting his energies, and left him stunned enough for Jack of Hearts to finish him off.

His fight with Blue Marvel is even more problematic, because Pagan was dead for almost a decade until that random appearance. Tremont killed both him and Templar by absorbing their life forces, then got the majority of his powers taken away by Triathlon (who would later dissipate these energies) and then used up the last splinters of his power to breach a forcefield around Kang's base and died. So Pagan just reappearing out of the blue in modern times with no explanation makes zero sense. The fact that the only thing we saw of the "fight" was one panel of Adam punching Pagan doesn't help in the slightest. Sure, it's implied Adam took care of him somehow, but is it really fair to assume Adam just beat the tar out of him based on one panel?

OT: the trio has a chance if they all hit Pagan at the same time and don't let up. Thor already seemed to have given him trouble (even if he did get his ass kicked) when Scarlet Witch drained him of the energies he absorbed, and he won't exactly have much time to ramp up here if they attack at the same time. Then again, before he got drained, he was able to tank Wonder Man + Vision ramming him at maximum density and top speed (an attack that on separate occasions took down dazed Count Nefaria, Nefarius (a guy with Nefaria's powers) and Wonder Man + Atlas duo). And seeing how they don't have any means to stop Pagan from getting more powerful from their attacks... I'd still back Pagan for the majority.

Thor is definitely not soloing shit when a handicapped Pagan has already folded him on-panel.

The team has ~60-65% of winning with Thing being MVP.
