Wtf are those calcs ? Thor isnt compressing a sinhle pieve cube of gold-titanium, he is bending a mostly empty cylinder shaped one. Use bending force istead of compression. Its at most a few hundred to feat.

@mrtrey: Thats not how tensile strength works. You need to find the thickness and height of the ripped metal not its total surface area. If we say the metal was 1 m in height and 2 cm in thickness its 200 cm^2 or 1/50 m^2. So 400/50 = 8MN =~ 800 tons.

By feats Thor would escape easily, the ring feat is significantly better than Nam-Ek's only strength feat to the point they aren't comparable. General sense makes me think he'd need to use skill rather than brute force though.

Yea, I've thought about that, but honestly it takes much more force on average to crush a skull and even moreso with a helmet covering it than it would take to twist and snap a neck.

Thor may have snapped a neck of another Asgardian, but we know for sure that Nam-Ek can definitely snap another Kryptonian's neck given what we've seen of him.

Thor breaks out, Nam Ek cant though. The thing is, either of them can survive in space so they aren't going to kill each other either.

And have yet to give a single credible feat of Vibranium's cutting ability. What does scratching the metal even mean? Has it cut Thor before? Hulk? Anyone who has noteworthy piercing durability?

I don't recall ever mentioning it to be a piercing attack, but do recall stating that if several million degrees won't vaporize you, a bullet of basic earth metal can't pierce you. Here's looking at Thor who has such a feat under his belt now.
