@eredin12: I'm pretty sure he pushed Ben into the Falcon's engines with the way he moves his arm and hand, looking like a Force Push. That said there isn't anything saying that Lord Starkiller is weaker than his previous self, other than a statement of Palpatine saying that he could have surpassed him. But I kinda question Palpatine's words, given how manipulative he can be and even then though, that statement is referring to surpassing Palpatine, one of the most powerful mortal Force Users in history.
So what if he doesn't surpass him? Pretty much only the 1% are at or have surpassed Palps mortal wise, so....I never really get this line of thinking when it comes to Vader either, he's still top tier regardless.
Anyway this version of SK also fought Galen and shown to be pretty powerful and match him beat for beat within the Jedi Temple as a Force Vision.
That said defeating Ben and then later his Force Ghost, which would be far more powerful is pretty good.
He also clowned Luke Skywalker, who while not having trained with Yoda, did train with Kenobi's spirit. He still showed that raw power, just wasn't able to fully utilize it, being able to hold SK's attempts at hoping a set of blast doors and then close them effortlessly. Also showing the ability to absorb Force Lighting and then later use Force Lightning when he fell to the Dark Side. Even then, it's clear SK was holding back against an all out Dark side aligned Luke which made him more powerful.
