okay scott. id a better h2h fighter, a better on the fly thinker (I know richards is smarter, but he is not as quick-a-thinker in the midst of combat, 30 minutes of prep time is going to help him, not against Scott, who has seem far more action as far as actually physically being in a fight goes). He is also faster, not to mention Reed is weak against heat. (optic blasts generate heat). Scott hands Reed his fantastic butt, on a silver platter.
Scott Summers has already formulated just-in-case battle plans for fighting any of his fellow X-Men. It's very concievable he has done the same with some of the other major heroes. Reed Richards is a brilliant scientist, but not the greatest tactical planner. Plus, while his power has it's uses, one-on-one duels are not his forte. And, even with his flexibility, there's a limit to how much he can be hit before getting hurt of KO'ed.
