Mordru vs Wally West
Morals off, Wally takes it.
NO
In before someone says speed steal
In this case Mordru "steal" the speed force from Wally.

30th Century Mordru is a stomp fest. Even while bound to earth he could casually manipulate time and space at will and draw JLA and JSAers from the past and use them to do his bidding. he absorbed half the power of Infinity man ( a DCU Eternity knock off) and was stated by Brainiac 5 to be able to destroy the universe in seconds. Wally can't and never will beat Zoom because time control is greater than speed control and Mordru can do it to a much greater degree.
Since most are generally unaware of Mordru's power and capabilities, I'll post some scans.
Neutralizes the 5th dimensional Thunderbolt, and Alan Scott(while complimented with Dr. Fate's power, that he normally exceeds anyway).
Turns Alan Scott into wood, and shows a more subtle means of subduing him.
Takes on Nabu(The most powerful Lord of Order) and despite each spell he casts proving very strenuous, starts gaining the advantage at the end.
Takes out Dr. Fate, Black Canary, Hawkgirl, and Atom-Smasher(by turning Black Canary and Hawkgirl into the birds of their namesake, and Atom-Smasher into a painting).
Taking on the JSA(two different instances)
Stalks and kills Kid Eternity.
BFRs Wonder-Woman and Jay Garrick, puts Starman in his place, regrows a hand, and is confirmed as being eternal and truly immortal.
Wally does a zillion things to him before he can form a thought.
wally could do 5 zillion ( hell 5million zillion) things to him but if that thought was remove wally west from his crib a few decades ago and drop him in a black whole it won't make one iota of difference. Mordru CANNOT be destroyed. He always was and will always be.
@beatboks1: Why won't speed steal work on him? I always see that move used by flash fans against anyone.( from wolverine to galactus) Some people have told me no one has ever countered it.

Speed steal will work it just isn't going to be enough against someone who can reality wart, as well as steal the very speed force (and with it the ability to steal speed) from wally. Speed steal is also no help against someone who operates on a different time line as they don't use speed. Also Wally isn't beating Galactus, that's garbage.
Pretty much everytime Mordru ever loses it's nonsense plot contrivance or just plain stupidity. The dude's absurdly powerful and Wally can't really put him down. Dumb magic shenanigans are usually the only way to even do anything to him.
Though just saying Wally vs Modru is kind of like saying Wally vs Thanos. Mordru varies a whole lot through all of his appearances, especially considering the time screwery he's involved with.
I can believe that people are still saying "Wally" after beatboks just knocked it out of the park.....
@cregan_stark: Haha, never underestimate the power of popularity.
@beatboks1: sorry to bump a thread for this but is Mordru DCs most powerful magic character

Currently no.
@thitiki: then who? And I was actually referring to overall
Um...Wally? I've only seen Mordru appear a couple of times, and powerful as he is, I've never seen him do anything suggest he can react to being blitzed a bajillion times under a second...

@beatboks1: sorry to bump a thread for this but is Mordru DCs most powerful magic character
In the Nu 52 we have only seen Mordru in medieval times and he has not shown any vast power at all.
Pre COIE the only DC magic user who could be argued to be greater than him was Spectre and that would not have been when he was at lower ebbs.
30th century Mordru while actually bound and at a LOW power level actually one shotted Classic Fate after Fate had absorbed the power of BOTH Alan Scot and Hal Jordan to amp himself. 20th Century Mordru aside from defeating Nabu also defeated an Amped Shazam in his place of power after he had just freed himself from imprisonment in the Rock of Eternity and was also not at full power. In early JSA stories he was also shown to have killed and absorbed the power of several Lords of Order and Chaos (like him and Nabu).
Currently no but overall defintely
@beatboks1: That's what I thought and thanks for the info.
As for this battle,
Round 1 Wally drops him off at the end of existence, at entropy. Unless Mordru is somehow exempt from its effects in a place where even death has no conceptual meaning. Which may actually be possible
Round 2 Mordru, since he seems like magic incarnate.
But I could be swayed
Round 1 Wally drops him off at the end of existence, at entropy. Unless Mordru is somehow exempt from its effects in a place where even death has no conceptual meaning. Which may actually be possible
Old post, I know, but Mordru's stated to outlive the universe(which by default would be entropy, obviously).
@xiix: well just because he outlived the Universe doesn't necessarily mean that he could survive for long... where even death ceased to exist on even a conceptual level. But I see your point. I'll say stalemate unless speedsteal works
@supermanwithatan01: No, I've never seen him visit a plane or state of pure entropy. But then again he won't be chasing Wally to the end of existence either.
Oh and coincidentally enough(not that it effects this match one way or another) after subduing the JSA(for about the billionth time, including Nabu the Wise at the same time), Mordru was about to feed on Jay Garrick's speed-force reserves.
Best I can recall he's only ever been contained and/or subdued by exceedingly high-end mystical or cosmic(if that's what you want to consider 5th Dimensional Imps in their djinn forms), and even then in the notorious instance where he was supposed to be trapped in The Rock of Eternity for however many thousands of years, he only after a short while manifested himself out of the stone, proceeded to beat the crap out of an amped The Wizard Shazam who did so in anticipation of battle with a homicidal Spectre. Shazam retaliates, Mordru punks him and taunts him on the way out as The Spectre arrives. No worse for wear, and Shazam left extremely drained.
Given he's a being of pure chaos-energy, he's overall proven remarkably resilient or immune(in the case of Hourman trying to de-age him to the point of non-existence and then blowing up, since Mordru has no beginning or end, and is more eternal than the universe itself) to both conventional and obscure means of attack.
@xiix: that's true, but I doubt Wally would give him a choice. Regardless, I do put faith in Mordru draining power but it's an infinite source and Wally could speed steal him.
Wally does a zillion things to him before he can form a thought.

So he's like the student loan debt of villains?
@highaccuser: Yeah dude what the eff were you think. . . . smh.
;)
Mordru.
lol I made this?
yeah i was wondering about that... im glad you know better now... Wally obviously stomps because he cant lose :P
How can people still say Wally wins this??
Mordrumis a reality warper, it's been shown he can steal the speed force from Wally (ergo bye bye speed steal) etc etc.
And then we have round 2 where a 30th century Mordru who while weakened and mystically bou d to earth by EVERY mystic of that era couls still solo the combined forces of the JLA/ JSA/ LOSH. the guy literally soloed a team with two flashes, 7 Superman level bricks, a couple of mystics near Dr Strange Level and two GL's in a weakened condition and some people still think Flash can take him????? How is that in any way supportable????
