Luffy was swapping hands with toriko in a crossover. That alone should allow him to lolstomp naruto unless I'm missing some kinda context behind it

Just because Goku and Toriko got nerfed to Luffy's level doesn't mean Luffy is now planet+ level.

Naruto gets statements here, Kinshiki could split planets. Kurama could destroy the Earth, etc.

They nerfed on Toriko and Goku is as equal as Luffy.

I mean it doesn't really prove anything since Luffy does that kind of stuff (DC) like casually in pre-time skip, so i mean I don't really know either way it fine for me

Actually Torkio wasn't that strong back when the crossover took place and goku was obviously holding back against luffy and toriko.

Think of this as Luffy was increased to their level.

Why they didn't kill Hercule with their pure aura is beyond me. I just tell myself you don't always need to make a big BOOM to be powerful.

Base Goku was stronger than Base Luffy but I think current Base Luffy would beat Base Goku (I'm referring to end of DBZ Goku and only in this scenario).

Luffy got stronger in the crossover as his Elephant Gatling Gun was equal to SSJ1 Goku fully charged Kamehameha in the beginning of the special and near the end an Elephant Gun was equal to SSJ1 Goku's fully charged Kamehameha (again Luffy has gotten way stronger since the Punk Hazard arc).

And Luffy was able to damage Akami, who had the combined power of: Ultimate Gohan, Hercule, God Usopp(having this power should make him multiversal tbh), Piccolo, Sunny, Sanji, Brook, Franky w/cola, Coco, SSJ1 Gotenks (which was stated equal if not stronger than SSJ3 Goku at the time) and combined attacks from Toriko, Goku and Luffy (Akami has this "whatever doesn't kill me only makes me stronger" thing going on, so after taking attacks it got stronger if it didn't immediately die).

We didn't see Gear 4 because of when the crossover took place but it should be immensely powerful.

This is primarily what clears the debate for me. Naruto statements are not normally backed up by canon events, but if we take them at face value, Naruto should make it do what it do.

Luffy has nothing to protect himself against Naruto's Rasenshuriken.

Just posting this feat. Our Blonde Ninja literally created a huge black hole, as a side effect, that sucked the landscape and whole mountain ranges!

Also saying goku was nerfed to luffys level is completely baseless.

@argevil4: Exactly. Toriko was maxing out at what? 13 to 15 ren kugi punch. That's damn near BOS. Though it was post timeskip, Luffy only used Gear 3rd with armament. Goku went overboard and used SSJ1 Kamehameha. Suffice it to say, composite Naruto clap claps composite Luffy

The crossover is stupid but goku transforming multiple times makes your point moot.

I have evidence in goku transforming, you are saying he was nerfed just because you are a naruto fanboy and want him or his series to win every battle on the forum.

As someone else stated, statements are allowed meaning Naruto is at levels far above he would normally be, so Naruto takes the win.

Besides you didn't explain how Luffy being buffed is any worse than Goku being nerfed.

The whole crossover is fan service, but goku couldn’t do enough damage to the monster in ssj1 so he went ssj3 this isn’t debatable.

But..... You're comparison is even worse logic than that. Goku beating planet level freiza is a feat. Goku blowing away system level cell is a feat.

Goku didn't show anything remotely close to that in the crossover.

I always looked at noncanon events like crossovers as being completely self contained.

like how DCAU superman doesnt get New 52 superman's feats even though their both "superman" they exist in different universes with different histories and circumstances.

there's no reason to believe crossover goku is as strong as canon since he is from a different reality.

The crossover was fun to watch but god I hate luffy battles that include it. Naruto games feats at least don’t put Naruto at solar system level or something and the characters are around the same tier as they are in the show but luffy was able to fight goku for some reason even though base super goku could paste luffy. Fun crossover, annoying in battle imo.

Anyway I guess luffy as he could fight a ssj1 goku.
