Momoshiki Otsutsuki (Boruto) vs Ichigo Kurasaki (Bleach)
@gokukid2005: been done a million times. ichigo gets killed by a getsuga.
@manimalman: ;-;
@gokukid2005: still a fun thread idea, but its better to bump old ones instead of making duplicates
@manimalman: yes sir
I just can't think of any that aren't banned ;-;
(fused) Urashiki, Momoshiki and Kinshiki vs Ywhach

Just gotta avoid kaguya & ywhach everything else is pretty much fair game.
I definitely wanna see more urashiki threads.
I am laughing that people think Ichigo can't tank his own getsuga
Generally, Shinigami can't even tank regular sword strikes from characters who are relative to them. If they could, there would be no need to dodge, block, or parry. So why would Ichigo be able to just "tank" his own ultimate attack?
When Ichigo fought Monster Aizen, a character so beneath him that the latter couldn't even sense Ichigo, he had his arm badly burned by a Fragor. Meanwhile, a casual sword strike from Ichigo dispersed a multi-Fragor from Aizen. This already shows that Ichigo's basic sword strike >> his own durability, let alone a full-power Getsuga...
@number3561: and Ichigo took a stronger version of his getsuga against ginjo when Ichigo was in a weaker form
Fused Momo can BFR him or BFR his sword into another dimension then proceeds to curb him in hand to hand
Or he could just absorb Getsuga Tenshou and amplify it even stronger 2 x then shoot it back at the ladder
Lava Rock Monkey is not even needed
I just realized, it only says momoshimi, not fused momoshimi. Meaning any fused feats shouldn't apply right
@hayabusa77: Dude the pic clearly shows that ugly redesign.
OT: Strawberry still wins

- that is fales they can tank regular sword strikes they can tank amp sword strike which all sword strikes in bleach
@zelonix: Teen Naruto solos Boruto.
Momoshiki was stated as being individually stronger than both Naruto and Sasuke. He stomps ichigo with superior stats and hax.

We don't see him take the Getsuga straight to the body. We see Ginjo's Getsuga explode on him, but Ichigo could've partially blocked or countered it for all we know. From what we do see, the portion of Getsuga that actually hits Ichigo's body cuts and burns his shoulder pretty bad. Also, Ginjo was weaker (not stronger) than Ichigo. Ichigo stomped him badly when they both went Bankai.
I already showed you Dangai Ichigo's casual sword strike being massively better than his durability:
Full-power Getsuga >> Casual sword swing > multi-Fragor >> Fragor = severely burns Ichigo's arm
Why exactly do you think Ichigo blocks or dodges sword strikes from comparable opponents if his durability is so high that he can tank his own Getsuga? Why does Ichigo also get injured by regular sword strikes from these people? What you're arguing defies all battle logic.
In the Byakuya fight, Ichigo literally gets cut up and pierced by Byakuya's sword, a Kido, and a single blade of Sekkei. He would've been able to block all these things with a regular sword strike if he'd guarded in time. Afterward, Byakuya condenses all his power to use his strongest move (Hakuteiken) which is overpowered by Ichigo's Getsuga. Notice a pattern?
Getsuga >> Ichigo's regular sword strikes > his opponent's regular attacks >> Ichigo's durability
There's a reason Ichigo doesn't stand still and try to tank sword strikes, and that's because he gets cut/pierced if the opponent is even remotely on his level. So obviously a Getsuga which is far stronger than a regular strike is not something Ichigo would consistently tank. There are so many examples of Ichigo taking serious damage from (or trying to avoid) attacks far weaker than his own Getsuga.
that is fales they can tank regular sword strikes they can tank amp sword strike which all sword strikes in bleach
Of course I know that Bleach characters are superhuman. I didn't say Ichigo gets cut by random real-life dudes with swords. I said Ichigo gets cut by sword strikes from comparable opponents, which means his durability is lower than his own regular sword strikes (since he can cross swords with these opponents), and his durability should therefore be much lower than his Getsuga.
We see Ginjo's Getsuga explode on him, but Ichigo could've partially blocked or countered it for all we know.
All I'm going to say is there was no movement showing an indication of any defense being used. In the clip, looking at the left shoulder, it's not in a position to block, and shown in Chapter 470, there's no way to counter. The only best way we've seen Ichigo deflect/counter is either deflecting the attack against his blade setting the blast in a different direction, catching the attack(Quilge Opie's arrows), or completely dodging it. Just to put this out, if you block an explosion with your sword, you will still feel the brunt of the blast regardless. It's doubtful any countering happened.
Also, don't forget that he completely tanks several arrows from Quilge, palms one, and throws it back at him.
So obviously a Getsuga which is far stronger than a regular strike is not something Ichigo would consistently tank.
Not the greatest argument. Piercing durability =/= durability against explosives.
Just wanted to butt in for a few things I saw.

There's about as much evidence that Ichigo partially blocked it as there is evidence that he decided to tank the attack straight to his body (and for some reason had all the damage concentrated on his shoulder). We know for a fact that Ichigo can react to Ginjo in this form, so it's doubtful he got blitzed. If the claim is that Ichigo necessarily took the Getsuga straight to the face, that's something that needs to be proven. Especially when we know Ichigo has a history of being hurt by far less.
if you block an explosion with your sword, you will still feel the brunt of the blast regardless.
The dispersed aftershock of a Getsuga exploding after it's blocked is clearly going to be far less potent than the concentrated razor blade of energy that's initially blocked.
he completely tanks several arrows from Quilge, palms one, and throws it back at him.
Right, but base Quilge was not on his level. His arrows aren't going to be as strong as that Ichigo's Getsuga. So this still doesn't show Ichigo's durability being comparable to his Getsuga, or even his regular sword strikes, because Quilge's arrows shouldn't be on par with either one.
Not the greatest argument. Piercing durability =/= durability against explosives.
That's an interesting distinction to make here. Getsuga Tensho is literally just highly concentrated reiatsu being swung from the blade. Concentrated reiatsu is the thing that makes zanpakuto sharp and strong in the first place for regular sword strikes.
In fact, Ginjo mistakes the sword pressure from Ichigo's regular sword swing as a GT, because of how similar they are in terms of attack type. So I don't see a reason for split-durability to be invoked when everything here is a matter of sharp reiatsu attacks versus durability. Bleach is actually one of the few verses that is pretty consistent by not really abiding by split-durability.
Ichigo wins this, after momo get done using all this attacks(he's a spammer) Ichigo gon slice him in half.
