SCENARIO: ESCORT

In this scenario, Juiceboks' team will be escorting a paylod in a bulletproof truck is being driven along a predetermined route to a randevu point. However, DeathHero61's team has their sights on getting this money.

DeathHero's team has an hour prep to position themselves along the route. Juiceboks' team all have vehicles to help them keep up with the payload.

DeathHero wins by getting the loot. Juiceboks wins by getting to the end of the route (a 45 minute drive).

Rules

  • All characters are comic versions, and anything canon to the comic versions unless specified. DC are Post Crisis, New 52, and Rebirth unless specified. Marvel is 616 unless Specified. Manga and Anime are composite. Video Games get game, manga, and comic feats. Movies and Films are live action and comics.
  • All gear will be standard. As in gear they used more than once. Characters with less than 50 comics to their name can use whatever gear they are seen with, if in reason of course.
  • Psychic attacks are only on fodder and summons. Psychic reading is fine. This applies to soul abilities as well.
  • No BFR.
  • Everyone is in character.
  • All teams get two weeks to work together in Danger Room exercises.
  • Try to get 2-4 posts each to judge from. If you dont have time, dont play.
  • Every new match you get a chance to tweak your team. Picking different characters or a whole new team.
  • Character Requests are Allowed, Within Reason of Course (Hell, I am making some myself lol)
  • You must have completed one CaV or Tourney to Participate

Bio/General Powerset

After being shipwrecked on an uncharted island after being thrown overboard of his yacht, billionaire playboy Oliver Queen had to hunt to survive. Forced to rely on his survival instincts, Oliver picked up his bow and discovered his natural talent as a hunter. After taking down pirates on the island he was on and getting rescued he returned home to Star City as the vigilante Green Arrow.

Green Arrow is the marksman of the team, he commonly and quite obviously uses a bow and arrow for combat, and has a wide variety of gear to go along with that. Gas Arrows, Tranqualizers, Flashbang Arrows, Explosive Arrows, and more. He's experienced in close quarters combat, and martial arts, but after his Natas training he became someone else, he became something else.

Toph Beifong

Former Earthbending teacher of Avatar Aang, and arguably the greatest Earthbender in her verse. Toph Beifong can manipulate the earth and use it as a weapon. She was born blind and was trained by equally blind badger moles who can manipulate earth. Through this training, she can sense the sonic vibrations that move through the earth. And everything can create vibrations, from the flowing rivers that clash against the earth, to ants crawling around on the ground. She is basically an improved daredevil with with absolute control of the battlefield.

Bio/General Powerset

Not much you need to know about him, I don't really study the backstory of the Team Fortress lore, but Engineer builds stuff, he builds Dispensers, which heals utilizing similar tech to The Medic, he builds teleporters, and he builds turrets, among other things. He's simply here to help ensure we have an extra helping hand and with prep, you aren't winning this.

How we dominate.

Main Phase/Prep

First things first, Engineer is going to set up all kinds of goodies for the team. First Dispensers.

They heal you with similar technology to Medic's healing gun, anybody with guns and the like can reload(so only the Engineer himself since he's the only one on the team who uses guns) Here's a video on the dispeners, you do not need to watch the entire thing. Auto tracking, has missiles, and a solid firing rate. These turrets will be set along the entire route, meaning you will deal with them at every corner and turn.

And to wrap things up for now, he has teleporters. Which can help up get around and catch up to our enemies in case they get manage to get past us, or if we immediately want to get in range of them.

Toph is going to help the engineer, travel from spot to spot to build everything he needs to in order to set up a defense.

And she has gotten better at moving around so landing and whatnot won't be an issue.

Heck, if you believe she cannot properly carry Engineer to do his job, she could just metal bend the sentry guns herself with proper instruction or carry each one to a position of our choosing. And I'll argue its possible because this is how precise she is with Metalbending

Anyway, the turrets will be spread out and we will efficiently have them ready.

Toph will have various giant boulders spread out across the map so that she can have ready to toss at your team.

Battle Phase

Your team is going to be driving on route to get the payload to its objective, Oliver is going to use one of Engineer's teleporters to get closer to the team, on a rooftop Toph will do the same and position herself to somewhere a little bit farther from their position on the ground. Turrets will be at their respective planned positions. Toph will immediately disrupt the entire team with a collective AOE attack that flanks you and blinds you at the same time. Toph obviously will be the only one not hindered by this, and Oliver has thermal goggles

And more, an onslaught that your team won't see coming because we will have suddenly ambushed you out of nowhere. As you are defending against Oliver's oppressive fire, Toph will screw up your team in other ways:

Monark will activate his stealth mode for him and Ulysses and command his pet to recon ahead of the team as they move forward. Monark's stealth mode was sufficient to elude the senses of not only four Nova Corps members included Richard Rider himself, but was also able to keep him hidden from the Worldmind's senses.

In fact even after Monark used his nanotech to attack the Worldmind thus alerting it to his presence, it still couldn't detect him with it's sensors and had to use a complex algorithm to figure out where he wasn't.

He'll be hiding out on the truck while Ulysses is flying ahead scouting for your team.

Jefferson will be using his flight to follow behind the payload until Ulysses spots your team and gives him the signal to activate his own stealth mode to engage when necessary.

Synapse will be riding in her own vehicle waiting for the signal as well.

Alright. Ulysses will track them immediately and take them out with his talons capable of shredding someone durable enough to halt a speeding car.

It is also important to mention that Ulysses is made out of the same nanobots that Monark and his weapons are composed of, one of which is a sword capable of slicing through virtually anything given how it interacts with enemies at the molecular level.

He should and has manipulated Ulysses in the same way as his sword, so his capability of slicing through the sentry guns shouldn't be in question. The teleporters shouldn't fare any better either.

Jefferson can also disable the guns with a sniping electrical blast like he was ready to do to Tobias Whale. Which shouldn't be necessary but it is another option.

Oliver is going to use one of Engineer's teleporters to get closer to the team, on a rooftop Toph will do the same and position herself to somewhere a little bit farther from their position on the ground.

Teleporters? As in more than one? I haven't played TF2 in a while but I'm fairly certain the Engineer can only build one entrance and one exit. Meaning if my team destroys the one placed near our route, your plan falls apart.

Assuming Ulysses hasn't destroyed the one teleporter you built (hard to miss considering how loud and glowing they are), then therein lies another issue for your team. The Engineer's teleporters have a charge time, meaning whoever decides to take it first will be attacked immediately without backup. Ulysses should take note of all of this before your team can detect mine. It has built in sensors of different kinds that were sufficient to alert Monark of a sniper bullet despite weathering a snowstorm that was messing with it's sensors.

So if it's a matter of who can detect who first to get a drop on the other, my team definitely has the advantage in that.

Toph will immediately disrupt the entire team with a collective AOE attack that flanks you and blinds you at the same time.

She'll have to be in mid range to do an attack like this, and without any way of detecting Ulysses (given flight and stealth mode) I'm not sure she can really counter ending up like this..

Jefferson has flight to avoid the projectiles, and Emily can use her powers to read Toph's mind and predict where attacks will go to like she did against Glah-Ree, an elite Kree soldier.

And while she isn't allowed to attack your team's mind directly, she's more than capable of doing so to the wildlife in the area such as birds.

Rats and other animals common to an urban environment are also hers to control.

In fact as soon as Monark detects your team through Ulysses, he'll leave the truck and move to take them down by lethal and nonlethal means right alongside the falcon.

My team will have already noticed yours through Ulysses' sensors and/or Synapse' telepathy. While your team won't know where Ulysses and Monark are until they attack them.

I'll talk more on how my team wins the overall battle later.

So far I don't see how your team can counter Monark and Ulysses' stealth tactics. Jefferson and Emily are there for the distraction while Monark and Ulysses can take down your team at their leisure. Toph's seismic sense and Ollie's thermal vision won't help and they're more or less glass cannons to Ulysses alone much less Monark and his weapons I haven't touched on fully yet.
