Anything above BOZ Goku is a stomp for Goku considering he touch moon level at that point.

Gai's strength isn't that incredible. His strongest attack is sub mountain level and he dies after using it.

Gai is nowhere near Goku's level.

Just because you take a mountain busting ki blast doesn't mean you can take a punch of equal strength. Guy is nothing but pure physical strength in this fight. And DBZ characters don't have high showings at this point when it comes to that

Goku's base level combat ability is that of someone that can react and fight at the speed of moving to another side of a planet in a fraction of a second.

Gai isn't faster than Rock Lee with a gate throwing a kunai. Gai isn't as fast as Goku.

Also, striking relies on speed. Force = mass * acceleration. So I fail to see how Gai being far slower than Goku can strike and harm someone that is far faster than him.

Gai has never moved at the speed Goku has. If Goku uses Kaio-ken, he'd only double, triple, 10x or more his speed. If he goes SSJ, IIRC, that's a 50X+ multiplier.

Goku but what I don't get is how Guy can bend space and time when he isn't nearly as strong as someone like Frieza saga Goku.

Also Goku at this point in the Namek Saga has escaped a beam of light and flew across a planet in a fraction of a second.

He also Blcoked Ki Blasts effortlessly which destroyed entire mountain and Islands... he even survived a Mountain being Hurled at him By Frieza with only minor injuries.

If Guy gets nailed with any kind of Ki Blast he's out of it

It's just a silly fictional effect that kishi wrote, which was a cool read. I thoroughly enjoyed it. But Gai isn't insanely fast compared to Goku.

Raditz caught a bullet from a rifle with ease which travels at Mach 2. Piccolo and Master Roshi were both able to send a blast to the moon at light speeds, it takes several seconds for light to reach the moon similar which was similar in speed to their blasts. This blast was far faster than Rock Lee can throw a kunai.

Gai is way out of his league here. This is easily a spite match in Goku's favor.

You'd have to wank the hell out of Gai to argue he stands a chance against SSJ Goku frieza saga.

TBH, I feel this is debatble without planet busting, if Guy can maintain it indefintely than Goku has to goSSJ otherwise Guys going to simply overwhelm him.

Also I been looking for someone to CaV Frieza vs Sasuke or Naruto vs Goku or we could even do it duo vs duo. Namek Saga has plenty of quantifiable feats so this could be a good one.
