I'm stunned. I remember the days when Midnighter Vs. Namor and Midnighter Vs. Marvel Thor generated pages-long debates.

Midnighter hype mostly died off these days.

Personally, I pegged him as being roughly Spider-Man level. Is that correct?

Ehh I'd say a bit more than that if you use his high ends with Battle Computer, but yes, around about that level for Wildstorm.

@professorrespect: Well yeah, I figured he was a bit higher than Peter. But non-jobbing Thor level? That's just silly.

Midnighters performances against people like Apollo are overhyped but most of that Midnighter > Thor argument stems from him being essentially a better brick-buster than Wolverine fighting someone as pathetically slow as Thor w/bs like doors. I don't know if I agree with it but it's far from silly to say he beats a specific high tier that lacks most of the high tier traits that would stomp Midnighter (i.e, Telepathy, Speed).

Midnighter is a good brick buster against slower opponents but he's also typically around Spiderman level as suggested. I'd argue he has some super-senses and computer analysis to deal with Mysterio, but I cannot see him taking this match without PIS.
