Mid-Tier Partner Team Up Tourney (6/6) FULL

Have you ever wanted to CaV alongside anyone against another duo? In this tourney, two participants will agree to work together and each will choose a character to represent. The way the matches work is that one user will post first, then their partner. The other team will do the same. The order in which they went is repeated three times and then the match is moved to votes.

Rules

• No space manipulation
• No reality warping
• Win by incap, KO, or death
• Max DC and strength limit is mountain level
• No BFR
• Characters cannot go faster than mach 25
• No time manipulation
• Flying height is limited to 80 feet
• 15 perk points
• Limit on cloning is 3
• No prep can amp you above mid tier
• No insta kill attacks
• Limit on summons is 10 and all summons together should be able to hinder but not easily defeat a character close to the speed and strength limits
• Matter manipulation can only be used on fodder and summons
• No non standard gear above limits
• Manga/Anime characters get composite feats from both Manga and Anime
• I am open to perk suggestions

I want to bring to your attend though that Rei Ogami breaks your own rules. He is most certainly FTL, having blitzed Prince's brother who was faster than Hello who moves at the speed of night.

Also you could consoder Lucifer's Flame an instant kill ability sincd it cannot be blocked, absorbed or countered. The flame burns nothingness itself.

@shade545: uh good man i believe you must look over the perks again an mass does make a good point most of rei flames are near instant kills they take like legit seconds

@zetsu-san: What speed level do you think would be appropriate?

@shade545: its all good. I would highly suggest reducing the speed to lightning timer max. Lightspeed mid tiers are usually very haxed.

I didnt see a limit on the number of characters each person gets either.

@mass: Each person gets to represent one unless they have the extra street tier character perk in which case one of them gets to represent the street tier character.

I was thinking something like mach 25, but it depends on whether he wants this to be manga dominated or comic dominated, really.

Each player gets 1 character, but can buy an extra with perk points.

@zetsu-san: I can raise the durability limit as well.

@shade545: The higher your speed limit, the more manga dominated this is going to be. Both of the comic characters in your team are absurdly slow next to a legitimate lightning timer, for example.

@zetsu-san: @shade545: gotcha tha k you for clarifying. Defining the speed limit is going to be your most important thing right now. Zetsu is right, anything beyond hypersonic will be 90% manga/anime as the comic mid tier group at higher speeds is rather small. I suppose some characters like Psylocke could clarify

200 tons is like, a few tanks stacked on top of each other.

You will have to get rid of that light speed perk for sure though.

Rei Ogami is most certainly not FTL. The situation you're referring to was an outlier, and Saechika was only able to react to Heike due to the in-universe logic of his shadow power. It's not a good idea trying to scale him that way. There's only one situation where you could maybe argue Rei was moving lightspeed, and it's while he was amped by Aoba's vital acupuncture, though I am not one of the people believing he was that fast during that instance. But I'm at least aware of the argument.

Most of Rei's powers are hax based, which is true. However, the Lucifer flame does not do that. What you're referring to is the one time only situation where Rei combined all seven flames to burn the "nothingness." It's not standard. Lucifer was stated to only be Satan's Blaze but "stronger" as vague as that is.

There should be no problem for those who want to use him at this tier and argue him in the rules, though I have no interest in the tourney. Just wanted to point that out.

@shade545: I am strongly against magic immunity perks, as they arbitrarily hit an entire genre rather than a particular set of abilities.

I think the adamantium related perks should be more expensive.
