Metamorpho vs Logias (One Piece)

Rex gets full information on each opponent, a week of prep and gets to choose the the location (It can't be in outer space or at the bottom of a body of water, though. It also has to be in the One Piece Universe).

Rex could just start out as an invisible gas, go inside their lungs and turn into salt water.

Rinse and repeat.

Only works if have their bodies are in contact with it they would simply disperse and reform.

@captain_redfists: He'll fill their entire bodies with sea water..which would immobilize and nullify all of them.

@juiceboks: they have to be submerged in standing sea water, it being in there body wouldn't count. Even if it did anyone above crocodile would be able to resist it's affects luffy can still use his powers in sea water it just weakens him. smoker and up should still be able to use their powers. Sea prism stone is a different story though.

Smoker on up can hit him even when he's in liquid/gaseous states due to haki. Most of them are massively faster and stronger than him. I honestly only see him maybe taking Caribou and maybe Crocodile.

Maybe I'm not explaining this clearly..

Rex has the power to transmute himself down to the cellular level with varying amounts of volume to what's around him, in a week of prep he can absorb a high volume of water, turn into an invisible gas and travel inside the bodies of the Logias to expand himself to whatever massive amount of volume of sea water he sees fit. Regardless of their element, they need to breathe. Nobody here can sustain themselves from internal attacks to every vital organ in their bodies. Luffy can fight while submerged because he's a Paramecia type, not a Logia and an internal attack of this magnitude should kill him instantly. Fighting in sea water isn't the same thing as fighting while every drop of blood in your brain is combined with sea water simultaneously.

It doesn't even have to be sea water, it could be irradiated nuclear waste and it would still kill every person here.

@juiceboks: everyone above round 3 has precog haki, they would know where the invisible gas was through this and be aware of any danger.

Being a paramecia gives no special resistance to sea water, as long as their powers are active they cannot be damaged as they are a living element unless of course he could use haki so he could fill their body with nuclear waste but they would just reform from their element.

Logia intangibility

Rex doesn't pose any danger as invisible gas. They'd have no reason to believe they're not just breathing regular air.

Logias aren't in their elemental state at all times, or else they wouldn't be able to eat, sleep, walk or interact with their environment. Logias still have a human biological makeup..until they turn into their elements either consciously or otherwise. An internal attack like this wouldn't allow them to reform, their bodies would shut down from complete organ failure and die on the spot.
