New 52 Mera and Aquaman vs Savage hulk no world war hulk or Worldbreaker. All bloodlust end and out of character.

Yeah, I don't think draining Hulk of his liquids would do much. The guy had all his flesh melted off before and all it did was piss him off.

thats just flesh. water is essential. im going with mera and aquaman via what @dondave said. Dehydration and possibly decapitation with the trident.

I'm taking Hulk here, dude has incredible recovery and you have to take him out superfast to finish.

Aqua and Mera's powers would'nt be fast enough to override Hulk sivk healing . Then he crushes them.

@dratini1331: I've never seen Hulk being dehydrated... At best, the best thing you can do is drain him off his Gamma energy, and still, that fails 90% of times.

@ghostravage: I was just going off a theory someone else had been talking about before in, I believe, a Wolverine vs Elrics brothers MU, if transmuting Wolverine's blood to ethanol would stop his healing factor. Someone said something about how the healing factor was related to Wolvies bone marrow or something, meaning losing his blood could incapacitate him.

I'm not sure, I'm just asking a curious question.

@dratini1331: Well, Hulk has adapting abilities, his own regeneration factor and high end durability to pretty much anything involving changing his matter/body... I don't think changing his blood to something else would do the trick, we don't even know if Hulk's blood is that necessary... For all we know his brain is the most important part of his body.

But it sounds like an interesting strategy.

@ghostravage: True, but removing all his water would literally cause his body to shut down. A normal person would be dead beyond recognition. It would likely be the most lethal thing he has regenerated from (at least that I've seen, the worst outside of this theoretical area would be regenerating all of his skin, and I believe this would likely be worse). Blood would stop pumping, the lungs would deflates, all bodily functions would cease almost immediately.

He would black out to lack of blood flow through his brain, and even his eyes would shrivel. It would be absolutely gruesome.

That being said, it's just a theory, so... meh. Either way, that's the only way the team could win, outside of that, Hulk likely takes a solid majority.

@dratini1331: The problem is, Hulk body is nothing like a normal body, his energy, mass, strength, pretty much everything he posses comes from an Extradimensional source of Gamma...

This is corroborated along the years.

That being said, even in classic days it's visible he needs no sustenance whatsoever...

He spends 3 weeks in a boat, with no water, food nor any kind of source of energy... Not only he stays as Hulk, but the fact he keeps going and going without recharging nor without implying he misses something. I strongly doubt he's going to miss the water in his blood... Blood we're not even sure has water in the first place.

That of course if they actually manage to overcome his resistance to transmutation/draining/(insert offensive ability here).

With stronger feats, Hulk would be able to stomp. Savage Hulk can get BFRed by this combination. It's a coinflip result.

The only way the atlanteans can win is through BFR. Otherwise they get a beatdown.

Ok, so what will say at this: Cells like neurons, cells producing adrenaline, entire circulatory system etc. are got rid of water. No adrenaline and solution to solve adrenaline and transport it to brain because of lack of water, neurons cannot functionate without water. No water = no life. I agree he can withstand in space or galactus blasts because of his physiology and super durability but hydrokinesis is some kind of matter manipulation which can negate durability. But Mera removes water from body what would just even prevent hulk from cellular regeneration.

Technically he is a human bound to normal laws of physics. People get angry because of hormons controling our moods especially adrenaline. Mera can prevent or even drain adrenaline from hulks body turning him back to Dr. Banner

Or absolute dehydratation. Cells need water to functionate. She can get rid off adrenaline from his body ( mainly brain ) so she can turn him back to bruce banner. She can dehydrate his neurons so Hulk will lost control over body + will faint.

Well you see Hulk can regulate his internal pressure, so that he doesn't get affected by decompression or sickness. And i really don't see why this would get rid of his adrenaline.

If she did so via dehydration than that wont work against Hulk, since he doesn't need water to function at all.

Assuming she can do that, what is it gonna do to stop the Hulk exactly? The guy doesn't even need his limbs or organs to be attached to one another for him to function, ripping his blood isn't doing anything.
