Ehh, can’t femeber much for his speed in this form

R1: he would likely blitz all of them before they can go ressurecion. The only difficulty would be Barragan because of his time dilation field.

R1: pretty much the same thing.

Though I can change my mind once I see other arguments for his speed.

R1 Mel could win mid diff due to way better stats in general or fall to hax.

R2 Mel pretty much stomps the FKT captains. None of them have any decent firepower or hax like the espada.

Meliodas wins both rounds. The only one who could challenge him his Yamamoto, but if he isn't allowed his blood war feats he would lose with the rest of them.

@skysanji: Besides R2 Ulquiorra the espada could be rag dolled by base Aizen, who power wise is inferior to this version of Meliodas imo. This version of Meliodas could possibly even beat butterfly or monster Aizen, let alone the espada or captains.

R1: Could go either way: Mel tries to blitz than when he gets close to Barragan he slows down, then Zommari takes control of his mind, Espada win. However, without Zommari, Starrk, Ulquiorra, and Barragan, the Espada are fodder. OR Mel with Full Knowledge takes the Former three out, then the fodder ones out, and Barragan likely loses.

R2: Weaker hax, so Mel probably wins this. If they weren't FKT Arc they'd stomp Meliodas tbh.

The Espada get bodied. The only one with enough DC to even hurt Meliodas is Ulquiorra if he uses lanza. Mel is miles above them physically, so the chances are rather high they just all get one or two shot by his physicals.

@hittheassasin: He did no sell Spirit spear in a weaker form so I don't think Lanza would hurt him im thinking hax is the way

Asides from his aging ability, he also has his time dilation field which is basically the statue-force meme. But I guess with him having full knowledge, he’d use an energy projection attack against Barragan.

@deathhero61: Barragan is fodder, he took heavy damage from Soi-Fon's fodder bankai. Meliodas could just oneshot him with a darkness blast, or punch right through Respira and oneshot him that way, seeing as to how Mel's immortal and doesn't age anyway.

Grimmjow, Starrk, Harribel and Nnoitora would lose, but each one of them could be a solo challenge for Meliodas, easily.

Mel stomps. He can blitz/body all of them and Barragans had won't help as Mel doesn't age and is completely immortal, plus he can nuke him from a distance.

@man_of_miracles: how do you know Meliodas is completely immortal? Did he live 10,000 years before without aging? How about 100,000? Or a million? Not even Demon king is older than a few thousand years for all we know. You have no feats or even statements to prove Meliodas can last for literal eternity and never age or die.

As Barragan would said it "There can be being that can last for thousands of years, but no being can last forever."

Meliodas dies to respira unless you can prove he is literally eternal. Which you cant. Nuking from a distance was already tried on Barragan and proved impossible. Barragan solos quite easily.

Mel won't last forever because it's likely he'll lose his immortality at the end of the story, so moot point is moot point. Doesn't matter anyway since Mel slows down due to Barragan and then Zommari soloes.

@thoromdil: Meliodas is bare minimum 3,000 years old + the thousands of years he spent in purgatory. Which while not forever is plenty for him to resist respira to an extent. Enough to physically one shot Barragan. He is also cursed with immortality by the Demon King who has been alive in purgatory for millions of years.

EDIT: Forgot about the Kido barrier places inside Barragan to kill him so that was my mistake. However the fight still shows him badly injured after Soifons attack so he obviously can be damaged by being nuked.

@faradaysloth: Oh right Barragans own power inside the Kido barrier. For some reason I thought he own power started to effected him once he was badly injured, I was mistaken.

However the fight still shows that Barragan is not immune to being nuked as he was badly injured from Soifons second attack. The point remains the same in that regard.

People in here saying he can replicate Soi fon attack, which he can, but failing to realize she had help to get her attack to hit the 2nd time she used it. The first time it got aged and did no damage.

Barragon would age any attack meliodas throws at him.

And he didn't succumb to the damage from her attack. That's not how he was defeated. It was his own power used against him.

Most of the 10 Commandments are actually stronger than most Espada. The Commandments should all be around Island to Country Level while the Espada range from Small to Large Mountain Level. So considering that I would say Meliodas takes all of them on but not without getting a arm or leg cut off, or getting some moderate damage.

First, Meliodas being 3k years old means nothing. It will not slow down Barragan's respira. Shinigami can live for thousands of years as well but upon getting touched by Respira they turned to bare bones INSTANTLY without any delay. So Meliodas cant tank Respira. He also cant dodge it. Barragan shoots it as an omnidirectional wave thats faster than fastest Bleach characters... and the only way its been dodged is by placing a substitute barrier in front of you for respira to consume which can briefly delay it. Without Merlin, Meliodas cant even do that.

So Meliodas cant tank or dodge respira. Barragan is simply bad match for him. Meliodas dies.

As for Barragan being "badly" hurt, no he really wasnt badly hurt. He was laughig it off and didnt seem slowed down or crippled at all. Also the only reason Barragan was reached by any attack in the first place was because he got sealed in a controlled space that was smaller than explosion radius. Meliodas cant repeat that without help of someone like Merlin so he will never get a chance to do it. Any other attack he sends Barragans way will get consumed by Respira before it touches him.

I think I'm backing mel on this one. Especially with fill knowledge that gives him a major boost and most of the espada are fodder. Zommari and szayel could be dangerous if he didn't have any knowledge. Full knowledge mel knows to take this extremely serious.

@thoromdil: What part of "immortality" did you not get, Demons are known to have an average lifespan of 1000 years. Galan who's around 998ish is considered old. Meliodas has outlived his lifespan by three times and physically doesn't age.
