Round 1: h2h, morals off
Round 2: Colleen gets sword, May gets steel staff
Round 3: Parkour course, who finishes faster?
@anthp2000: Ok, that post is just filled with bait. May and Colleen are Galactus tier, not Bucky tier.
@the_magister: May all rounds.
Thanks for the tag.
May wins R1. Loses R2. dk about 3. But the way Colleen is flying in that gif in OP, probably her.
@the_magister: How do you think a sword duel would go?
@angeljax: Sorry mate, my thread. Can't debate here in-depth. I'll give a brief answer though.
As far as swordsmanship goes - Colleen definitely has more showings, but I think May might be superior in-verse due to her portrayal in season 6. Overall, I'd be more confident in backing Colleen as far as pure skill with swords goes - she is just more fleshed out in that area... while May's action scenes tend to focus on unarmed combat, improvisation, and gunplay.
That being said: I do generally back May for a solid majority over Colleen in pretty much any fair scenario. May's stronger, faster, more agile, more resilient, more durable, and more knowledgeable & skillful in martial arts when compared to Colleen in my opinion.
Colleen is actually a lot better than people give her credit for though, I feel like. She excels in certain situational combat techniques and adaptability.
@the_magister: May all rounds.
Round one skill gap is closer than people think but May is in a different class physically.
Round 2 Colleen fares much better but I still give the edge to May. Again physicals, particularly agility and her staff should allow her to parry and get out of the way long enough to land a decisive blow. Pure swordsmanship goes to Colleen.
Round 3 I'll give to May for sneaking up on Maria Hill. Not sure if it's a pure stealh or pure speed but I'm sure speed was involved and shes proven her ability over and over.
@kingofwakanda: Colleen was being ragdolled by chi strike shockwave while in ridiculous pain and was tanking it. She dented a metal car door with a hit. How is May in a different league physically?
@rbt: The tanking the shockwave sounds good. Denting a car door with a hit is ok. I can go outside and dent a car door right now if I kicked it hard enough. Maybe it was more impressive than it sounds. I don't remember it.
I'm mostly referring to May's striking, her speed and agility. May regularly contends with a much more physically gifted level of opponent.

Outside of ragdolling people, I don't remember anything impressive striking wise from May. And ragdolling people is something Colleen has also done. Though I can see May having better striking.
Durability wise, Colleen should be just as good if not better.
I also don't see what gives May a definite edge in agility. Colleen vs Bakuto fight had some really good display of agility. As was season 2 end Colleen vs Danny fight.
Regardless, this fight comes down to skill, IMO. Their stats are comparable with May having an edge in striking and Colleen in durability.
How do you think MCU Matt and Danny compare to May in sheer skill(ignoring stats)?
Edit- May broke open a barn door. She should have better striking.
@rbt: Fair enough. Can't think of any crazy durability feats for May. Probably some I'm forgetting.
I think Matt is tops in pure skill. Danny isnt far behind and May is on the same tier. Might give them the edge for doing well against Black Sky who was both super powered and highly skilled. May can do well against people with better physicals but when someone has similar skill and better physicals like Bobbi or Ward they pose a real problem.

Fair. Though I personally don't think Matt and May are comparable skill wise. Matt should be significantly superior.
@rbt: @kingofwakanda: Colleen has neat skill feats, like teaching Danny during his recovery or briefly matching Davos (though context makes the latter performance open to interpretation). Plus she has some neat fodder-wrecking sequences, like stomping Gao's armed mercenaries when they came to capture herself and Danny in the dojo. We also know she's a prized student of Bakuto, who is one of the Five Fingers of the Hand - so she is definitely well-versed in martial arts lore and technique.
May's durability and damage soak are pretty stellar. Taking hits from Eva Belyakov that sent her flying across a room, and in the same scene taking a revolver round to the knee at point blank (plus continuing to stand and fight). Taking a roundhouse kick from Sinara to the jaw and immediately getting back up, when we know a less charged-up punch from a regular Kree can send someone flying 20+ feet. And most recently, pain tolerance wise, she pulled a sword out of her torso after being cleanly impaled with it and mustered the strength to get back up to fight Izel.
@indomitableregal Thoughts on my breakdown of Colleen's skill + May's damage soak?
@the_magister: So, I agree with pretty much everything you said. S2 of Iron Fist helped to solidify Colleen more, and make her an actual credible combatant.
That said, I think her and May are 2 different tiers. I just don't think Colleen would fare as well against the same opponents that May has bested. I think Colleen might take that parkour round, but I got May for the first 2.
