That does NOT mean that they have a humanoid mind in that Prof. X can can read or control.

What evidence do you have to support that?

The closest example i can think of are Telepaths and Androids on Star Trek. Telepaths have never been able to pick up the thoughts of Androids nor sense any thought process.

Data is an example of a sentient machine with a conscienceness, and no telepath, not even extremely powerful ones can detect or read this thoughts.
