Only way I see Thor/Superman winning is if they take DD out first via BFR -> decap

Superman solos, DD gets BFRd and Thanos gets put down in a minute at worst.

With this rules Thor and Superman have no way to put Doomsday down, but Clark can solo Thanos.

Thor could fight Doomsday and possibly win or stall for long enough while Superman beats Thanos. Or Thor could fight Thanos and possibly lose than Superman grabs Stormbreaker/Thanos's sword and kills Thanos and Doomsday. Either way Superman and Thor win. Superman can solo.

Edit: Missed no weapon sharing. Either way Superman solos.

@xzone: I don't know, but I'm quite tired of the same characters against the same characters always. Btw Doomsday is as clearly above Superman as is Thanos to Thor so I don't get the match.

MoS would have to carry as his teammate got stomped by Thanos on multiple occasions. High diff

DD solos. SB and Thanos sword lack feats to cut him. Cutting Thanos isn't good enough and being able to chop away at vibranium isn't good enough either.

Except it's not an NLF. DD was gonna get so strong he would have eventually cleaned Earth's surface of humans with his AoEs. That makes his durability very close to conventionally unkillable by irl standards

As far as I know that doesn't really mean much of anything. He was a threat to earth's population because he was considered unkillable. So eventually he would have killed everyone. Similar things could be said for other characters. It doesn't mean that his AOE was going to continually become more powerful forever until he wiped everyone out with it. It just means he would have been able to travel across the earth killing everyone he sees until there was no one left.

So, this is basically superman vs doomsday and doomsday beats him eventually

It would be rather unrealistic to kill ppl will 300kt powered 2mi AoEs. There's more nukes to be had, and more energy to be disbursed. I don't think I can see Superman taking on that sort of power lvl for very long.

no but I'm saying that it'll get more and more powerful until the sum contribution of all those blows he gives DD becomes way too much for him to handle.

Yeah I did. I agree it's an NLF, so I think I'll clarify my position: I think there's a obv limit down the line but I don't think that DD's power levels, as expressed with his destructiveness shown on screen, is said limit. That's cuz we only saw him getting shot with a 300kt warhead. I'm assuming that in Snyder's hypothetical scenario, they shot him some more, which would give him more energy...to "boosh". And eventually those AoEs were enough to lifewipe.

Doomsday beat a severely weakened Supes by both Kryptonite AND a thermonuclear detonation. Thanos never faced God of Thunder Thor without a single stone...

I think Thor/Superman have more than a chance here.

I'm only applying the same logic here. The only meaningful thing Superman's hits can do to DD is give him more energy to feed on.

@rajjarsalt: Sure. To clarify my stance has certainly changed since it was noted that sun bfr isn't allowed. The only real option is a stalemate for these two characters assuming Thor doesn't kill Doomsday. I just don't see Doomsday tagging Superman or his aoe having the power to defeat him unless you give him the benefit of the doubt and assume a nlf.

@amcu: The AoE helps a lot aganist Thor, it would slow him down a bit. Anyways in a 2v1, if you believe SB can pierce DD, they have chance. Only problem is that Thor is way slower than Superman, so it's not going to be easy.

@sufferedtoker: Personally I don't think the AOE is much of a factor. Its not a constant attack and is charged up for an extended period of time. Thor doesn't have to attack him at those times, and could possibly just throw Stormbreaker at him while he's charging.

The problem for Doomsday and Thanos is tagging Clarok.

@amcu: The problem is that DD has regen and could catch SB as he is not slow. Also, we've seen Thor struggling with weaker bricks who are slower than DD.

AoE can help a bit, but it would be way easier to argue with BFR on. I agree with you but the thing is that Clark would beat Thanos without any problem but Thanos can stomp Thor once he tags him. In a 2v1, Clark would have problems without weapon stealing due to their durability.

I'm saying it could go either way. As I said, Zod would have been a better opponent..

@sufferedtoker: Like I said Clark isn't really getting tagged in this fight at all. The only issue is whether or not Thor can kill Doomsday. With Clark's support that shouldn't be too much of an issue IMO.
