MCU/WODC: Thor and Superman vs Doomsday

Imma go with DD, though stormbreaker would definitely one shot him if it tags him.

Going with DD sadly, even though these 2 are my fav characters of all time. I can't see the team taking down DD without any K-night.

Either of the duo would give doomsday a good fight. Together they stomp.

Doomsday. Without kryptonite, neither really hurt him that much, he's way too durable.

Team stomps. Current Superman is debatably above Doomsday on his own. Adding Thor with Stormbreaker makes this a mismatch.

Doomsday. Stormbreaker still lacks the feat to cut through a kryptonian and his damage output still isn't enough to hurt doomsday plus Thor lacks the speed. While doomsday can just about beat both to death

Can Thor hit with a force greater than a nuke? if not doomsdays adapt to all damage he's dealt with.

Team with ease. Imagine Superman bfring doomsday upwards like he did in BvS while Thor simultaneously comes from above and drops stormbreaker onto his head. Fatality.

Prove? No. But it was confirmed that you don't have to be worthy to lift it. You just need to have god like strength. That's why Thor told the Guardians they couldn't use it.

Technically I don't think Superman is as strong as Thor but at the same time I don't want to NFL Stormbreaker too much and say that you have to be just as strong as Thor to hold it.

@amcu: Not only physical strength, but mental strength as well. Thor specifically said their bodies would crumble as their minds descended in to madness, meaning even if they could weild them it would drive them insane

Superman speed blitz and Thor uses Stormbreaker, the duo stomp here. Or, that would be the case if Doomsday couldn't just adapt. After Doomsday got hit by a nuke and came back from it, all they can really do is BFR him to win.

Stormbreaker literally cuts him in half. He doesn’t have feats of coming back from that type of damage. Nor does he have feats of coming back from his head getting cut off. His arm got cut off and all he got back was a stubbed bone. DD loses this one

By the way, Doomsday beats their asses to death.

Superman is no better than he was in BvS, and he didn't stand a chance of winning against this beast. Thor won't even last, he lacks the speed, first and foremost, and he's at least a tier below Wonder Woman, who also stood no chance of winning.

They're in Asgard and DD can't fly, so all they have to do is to throw him off the planetoid, then attack repeatedly while he can't fight back.

MoS Clark didn't know how to fight. He was terrible.

@xzone: No probs. I guess with full knowledge Thor wouldn't try to chop him. I'm of the belief, through Lex's design, that DD will adapt to any body parts being chopped off.

So if Thor doesn't use that, or his lightning...

Was Diana holding back against Doomsday? Because she was, awfully much, against Clark.

There's no evidence at all that Superman can blitz someone as fast as Diana, or stomp her if she's going all out. This doesn't put him above Doomsday, not even close.

@anthp2000: He blitzed her before she bracelet clashed.She also struggled with Steppenwolf even with help who was fodderized by Superman.

Team would win, Thor could solo. I think Thor is equal or superior to Doomsday in every regard except speed, which won't hurt Thor too much because he is so durable. And Stormbreaker gives Thor an opportunity to one shot. Superman could hold his own against Doomsday for a little bit, which just makes their victory easier.
