As others have said (apparently just to be ignored), their fight in Defenders had context. Too much to let it be taken at face value. Without chi, Danny wins with very high difficulty. With chi, he obviously obliterates.
Te only context in the Defenders fight is that a blood-lusted Danny that was willingy to kill in order to escape (and almost did it to Jessica have not Luke intervened) got schooled by a holding back Matt that was only trying to restrain him. only hits that Danny connected where cheaps shots either where Matt was just talking or when Jessica was distracting him. In a no morals fight, Matt wins even more easily.
