MCU Yondu vs. MCU Dr. Strange

This is a fight where timing means everything. They can see each other at the start of the fight but there are trees between them.

Dr. Strange has the time stone, but it doesn't start unlocked.

Both are going straight for the kill.

On one hand, Dr. Strange has much more versatility and power, but on the other, Yondu has an arrow he has incredible control over that can move at mach speeds and likely pierce shields (at least partly).

Yondu`s arrow is fast but not fast enough to exceed 50 meters before Strange can shield himself.

Going with Stephen.

While I won't debate who will win, I have to disagree about Strange's intelligence. He's pretty smart and countered Infinity Stone attacks appropriately. Of course he makes a few mistakes, but almost every character does, which makes for good writing (to avoid creating a mary sue or gary stu).

Ok i know stephen is intelligent overally ( guy who finished medical studies in 2 years and best student of Ancient One ) but not very good at combat. Yondu destroyed entire ravengers traitorous army in seconds in one large main room. If Stephen would quickly react to arrow so i think shield won't help because Drax threwn knifes incapitated shield.

For now Yondu wins. But if Strange had some good reaction feats he would easily take down Yondu.

I'll take Strange. 50 meters is enough distance that Strange should be able to get his shields up.

Strange is powerful and has tons of hax but he's still a glass cannon and his reaction feats are lacking (see Ebony Maw getting the jump on him in IW).

If Strange is smart (and with 50m and trees between them) he might pull off a shield before he gets murdered, but I'd give it to Yondu 9/10. This is just a really bad matchup for Strange.

Yondu is too damn fast.

Stephen won't be able to react and dies.
